Chas and Dave and The Matchroom Squad
  • Elton John and Blue
  • Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballé.
  • Three connected ones:

Peter Gabriel and Kate Bush - Don't Give Up
Peter Gabriel and Yossou N'Dour - Shaking The Tree
Youssou N'Dour and Neneh Cherry - Seven Seconds
  • Where the Wild Flowers Grow - Nick Cave and Kylie
  • One of the best collaborations I've watched live is the one between Catrin Finch (harp) & Seckou Keita (Kora) .
I filmed them for the Shrewsbury Folk Festival and they just worked brilliantly together, They are touring again this year, worth catching if you enjoy world music.

Whilst we're talking Murder Ballads, Henry Lee - Nick Cave and PJ Harvey.
  • Tom Jones and, errr, just about anyone. I'm not a personal fan, but he's been extremely shrewd in prolonging a successful career by consistently collaborating with younger trendier people.
  • Robert Plant and Alison Krauss
  • In a Broken Dream - Python Lee Jackson and Rod Stewart
  • Sponsored links:

  • Open Up - Leftfield and John Lydon
  • What a Wonderful World - Shane MacGowan and Nick Cave
  • Dead ringer for love - meat loaf and Cher. Not even a guilty pleasure :)

  • Kurt Cobain and Margaret Thatcher.
Alan Turing just told me about it.
