So long as no one in the current first team leaves!2

So Bowyer's looking to bring a 3rd/4th choice striker on loan towards the end of the window, as we all thought.ross1 said:0 -
Cullen & Reeves should be in the squad Saturday.ross1 said:

Sounds pretty 50:50 as to whether Karlan will stay or go. Would be a huge disappointment to lose him so soon and not get to enjoy him for a at least the rest of the season. Being played with a straight bat again by Bowyer, the more you hear him speak the more you can understand how so many of these players have upped their game for him.2

Yes exactly. Bowyer and Jackson have done so much to get Charlton where they are both results wise and the relationship between fans and the team.Exiled_Addick said:Sounds pretty 50:50 as to whether Karlan will stay or go. "Charlton, the club where it all started for Bowyer as a kid, had been left broken by owner Roland Duchâtelet wanting to sell the club ..... "East_Stand_Loopy said:
Your reputation in football, Roland ...... is sh*t.
Just go.

Sounds to me as though Parker wasn't on the original list and Bowyer has brought him in purely on the recommendation of Gallen1 -
Yeah, we’ve lost Karlan and we wish him all the best but now we move on. That’s what happens in football, players come, players go but the club will always be here. So for me, it’s disappointing. I would much rather he’d stayed until the end of the season but that was out of our control. It is what it is, there is no point grumbling, he’s gone now
Completely agree. Should have seen the season out.2 -
I thought that was plainly obvious. Last week Bowyer spoke about have players in mind & knew who he wanted. Gallen spoke late last night about becoming aware of Parker's "availability" on Thursday.ForeverAddickted said:https://www.cafc.co.uk/news/view/5c5420851c7e8/bowyer-on-loss-of-karlan-grant-signing-of-josh-parker-and-charltons-togetherness

I can imagine there were lots of phone calls to clubs & agents to find a player out of contract in the summer & who would be happy to take the same deal as Williams.
PS. whenever I see this thread my immediate thought to the title of "Bowyer talks..." is
bollocks.
like the bloke for what he has achieved but he is starting to sound like KR. its best with this regime to say nothing, because everytime you open your mouth you'll find months down the line you had been lied to & made to look stupid.2 - Sponsored links:

I think that is unfair, i think LB is a straight talking as he can be. He can't really turn around and say "Yeah my boss is a total twat and shafted me with signings".golfaddick said:

We lost two first team players, and signed a bloke who came 10 stops on the train at the last minute.
Sunderland and Luton were what you call BUSY, so prepare for play-off nonsense again.3 -
