    Will be good enough to beat Colombia or Poles in last 16, but lose narrowly and agonisingly against Brazil or The Gerrys in the QFs.

    Really hope they do well. Refreshing to see a number of youngsters getting a chance, all of whom have plenty of skill.

    My dark horse for surprising key player of the tournament is Delph.

    Hoping we get to the quarters so that my interest doesn't dip off. Always love it at the start but watch less as my overly optimistic hopes of England conquering the world are shattered.

    given that over the years there seems to have been a pattern of England doing well, charlton doing shit I’d say on present circumstances that England are going to win the World Cup this time around
