Bad day for traffic in Dartford

Firstly - at 7am this morning a major junction nr m25 closed due to gas leak, will be closed for 3 days
Secondly - heavy down poor causes road flooding
Thirdly - tunnel closure adds to the above
Now
Fourthly - reports I'd a bus in the town centre ploughs into 20 car on a road it should not be on

What ever next??

Traffic was terrible on the A1/A1(M) and M25/M20 took me about 3 and a half hours from Peterborough to Maidstone

It has taken me over five hours to drive from Bexleyheath to Greenhithe this afternoon. Thought I'd avoid the A2 and go through Dartford. Oops.

Don't know what a bus was doing in that road - as far as I know they don't go down there - even if it was brake failure, I don't understand how it got so far unless he kept his foot on the accelerator - was the bus stolen ?
