    Moyes only had a contract until the end of the season so not really sacked. Rumour at West Ham was that he wasn't being paid as it would void his payout(s) from Utd or Real Sociedad and that he was paid a bonus only for keeping them up.

    I''d not be unhappy with Big Sam here. Would prefer Bowyer's given the job at the moment. Suspect Big Sam would be out of our range anyway but it would show ambition.

    Well maybe it's because I wasn't aware of his contract terms, but I didn't see this coming, whereas Allardyce was a good bet for the chop. Spent most of the season cursing Moyes for patching up that sinking ship.
