    Blackburn 1-0 FT

    Blackburn promoted.

With Wigan hosting relegation-threatened Wimbledon on Saturday I suppose we'll just have to piss on Rovers' parade and give the Latics the title.

Reckon Plymouth are imploding... they're gonna need maximum points from their next two games to force it to the final day

A point vs both Scunthorpe and Rotherham would put them 67, so all dependant on the charlton result Saturday!

But then we need max points as well, don’t we?

Their next game is v Rotherham who have finished forth whatever happens so Rotherham could quite easily rest players and take it easy

Peterborough now can't catch us, Portsmouth need to win both games and hope we don't pick up anything so you can rule them both out.

Basically a 3 team shootout now. The fixture between Scunthorpe and Plymouth is massive . In my opinion , a Scunthorpe win is best for us. May mean we finish 6th but dents Plymouth don't it . A draw would also be good but ideally the less points Plymouth get the better as they are further away .

A point for Charlton in each of their final two games would see Plymouth needing to beat Gillingham 5-0 to overtake us on that basis though

Rochdale not winning tonight, i think means they can't be safe by the last game

Don't rule out Bradford. Games against Southend, Walsall and Scunthorpe. Win all 3 and they go on to 70 points, 2 ahead of our current total

    Derby beat Cardiff 3-1.

    2 Cardiff P44 GD 29 PTS 86
    3 Fulham P44 GD 34 PTS 85
    4 Villa P44 GD 31 PTS 82

    Remaining fixtures:

Cardiff: Sat Hull (a); Sun 6 May Reading (h)
Fulham: Fri Sunderland (h); Sun 6 May Birmingham (a)
Villa: Sat Derby (h); Sun 6 May Spanners (a)

Looks like it'll be down to Cardiff and Fulham for the last promotion spot, hopefully Fulham get it and give Colin something else to moan about.

Villa can still do the decent thing and stop the Spanners getting into the play-offs.
