Charlton and Arsenal: managerial appointments

Prior to Arsene Wenger being appointed as Arsenal manager, Arsenal had made 24 managerial appointments and Charlton 16. Since Arsene Wenger was appointed, Charlton have made another 16, all of which have been made since Arsenal last won the league.

    I'm sure we tried one of the Nolan Sisters for 2 games. Katrien thought it would help to get new fans. I'm in the mood for football.

    Won two and drew one, home to Sheff United if memory serves.

    We've gone through a lot of managers in recent years, no doubt about that, but I don't know that I'd count the likes of Matthews and Roberts' one game, or Nugent's three as managerial appointments. Weren't they technically interim managers anyway? I know it's semantics but I think it over inflates the number.
