What? Mate..........The bloke was superb last night and the his crossing was the best Ive seen since from any England player since.................Well the last time Beckham played.
In the games he has not played in we've tried 5 different players at RM and from that we've scored 1 goal and had 2 assists.
2 games with Beckham back there and he has created 3 goals..... The facts speak for themselves. Pure class
Lennon and Wright Phillips will trouble defenders more. When Beckham goes to LA his career and form is gonna drop big time. He won't have the standard of training or opposition that he's used to now. We can't persist playing him, in the hope that 1 out of 10 free kicks might trouble the Keeper, that his crosses will continue to take lucky bounces etc. We need to start blooding the future, and it needs to start now. Otherwise, come Beckhams career finishing move to LA, we'll fall short in Right Midfielders with international experience.
Lennon and SWP are both utter wank, Beckham showed his class last night.
I don't believe for a second Becks will rot our his career out in LA, he will be out on loan, he was class last night, there is no two ways about it, it wasn't a lucky bounce, it was a perfect pass dropped right to a player in front of goal, if anyone else had put that ball in you'd be raving about it.

Yes they trouble them with their pace and then deliver fuk all.............English Rommedhals.
As Gary Player once said when questioned about his ability to save par from a bunker and around the green..... "The more I practice, the luckier I get!!"

Not at all. I think if Wright Phillips or Lennon had put that ball in then everyone would see it as lucky. But people are blinded by the Beckham brand.
It was a satisfactory performance at the end of the day, England should be beating teams like Estonia 3-0 & Beckham was the pick of the players yesterday and on form is currently the best player in his position for England.

Stu, are you saying that LA Galaxy are going to let Beckham go on loan, or am I misunderstanding you?

That's exactly what I mean, there manager was also quoted in the paper earlier this week saying if the offer was right he does not see why Beckham couldnt spend a season away from LA (I know it's only paper talk)
Didn't Beckham say there was no way he'd be going anywhere on loan. Straight after the spanish season ends he's off to play in the states and their season runs until November. By the time that ends he'll have played virtually non-stop since summer 2005.
Spanish season - euro 2006 - spanish season - US season so he'll surely need a rest by November?
Unless I am seriously mistaken, the LA Galaxy are paying Beckham megabucks for being their figurehead as much as they are paying for his footballing ability so I would be amazed if they allow him on loan anywhere.
Christ, imagine if they loan him out and he breaks his leg and misses their whole season. They'll be paying him tens of millions of bucks to sit on his arse, I can't see it happening.
As far as they are concerned they have pulled off a massive coup in getting him so I can't see them letting him out of their sight.
Agree OA - LA are doing pants in the league at the moment and so I can't see them letting Beckham wait another year - Also there are a number of money making schemes such as exhibition matches across North America including Vancouver (Stadium 60000) which I can't see them cancelling.
As for Beckham going on loan next year (January or Feb onwards) so that he can play in the Euro Champs only time will tell.
