    Completely agree

He should have done better in his career thus far

Worth a tenner on him for next week ...

I’m glad he won if only because he beat a man with a ridiculous ( and typically golfy) name.
I shall have a couple of quid on Poulter to finish top ten next weekend.

I'm glad Beau Hossler lost because he dresses like an 1980s golfer. He's 23 for fucks sake and looks Like he raided grandpas wardrobe. I'm 52 and my golf attire is in keeping with current fashions. Not a rational reason to want him to fail but he's the type of individual that reinforces the idea in people's heads that golf is for old fogeys and social retards!!!

Can’t remember who it is but one of the bookies are doing if your player leads after 1st round they will pay out, could be worth a punt on couples at 250/1

That made me chuckle @Taxi_Lad I’m another fifty something member of the “middle aged golfers in unwise clothing” brigade. My summer collection in particular has been known to raise an eye! I’m fortunate this year in that having had some recent health issues I’ve lost some weight (on purpose) so won’t look quite so Aphibarnrat this season. My acid test, as someone who lives a mile from my club, is this: does an outfit that makes me feel a million bucks on the course make me feel like a total tit walking there on public pavements? I can honestly say that my strawberry ice cream number (white strides with luminous pink hooped shirt - three shades of pink I’ll have you know) is a particular car stopper. So many people must know me. They all seem to wave to me from their cars. Well, it’s a sort of wave. Roll on summer.

Indeed I am (well sort of). Our seniors (Dartford) are now called the warblers but I’m still a few years off that achievement yet.
  • I love golf but is there any more boring programme than Live On The Range?!

I'll look out for you in your strawberry ice cream number as I drive past on my way to Redlibbits
