Polluting rivers.

Illegal isn't it?

So throwing dead fish in the Thames by the Houses of Parliament will attract a prosecution won't it?

Being a fisherman I am not aware dead fish pollute rivers or lakes, it is normally a disease or contaminant that kills the fish.

I belong to a private water in Kent and sadly you often see a dead fish or two floating but that does not mean the water is contaminated.

Ok. None of those directly effect me yet.
    Where is the line?
What do you think should not be addressed?
How will you expect people to obey laws if the police pick and choose?
Studies have shown if you ignore 'minor' law breaking then respect for the law, the police and government go down the pan. Leading to more law breaking. Look at what happened to US cities in the 60s and 70s where police concentrated on only certain crimes and let the middle classes do as they wanted.
