From a SLP article on newsnow just posted:
KEVIN Lisbie has admitted that his Charlton career appears to be over.
The 28-year-old sees his current deal expire this summer, and has been told he is free to speak to other interested clubs.
Lisbie said: "I've been told there is a deal at Charlton if I want it.
"But I won't be guaranteed to be playing if I sign again.
"My agent has spoken to a few clubs and I probably will move on because if the club tells you to talk to other teams it's probably the time to go.
"I thought I would stay at Charlton for a long, long time and I have done. Pards has come in and wants different people and I can understand that.
"I hope that I'll get a few attractive offers and I'm looking to play at Championship level and work my way back up.
"The main thing is for me to be playing because I've never had regular football - I've always been in and out."
Charlton could be set to delve back into the transfer market after manager Alan Pardew returned from holiday yesterday.
Cork midfielder Joe Gamble has indicated he is keen to join the Addicks.
The Republic of Ireland international worked with Pardew at Reading.
Please tell me the bit about offering something isn't true! Good God what's happening to the world?!?!

You heard it hear first........ ! ;-)
:)
Yeah, and he must be laughing his tits off at the money he has picked up over the years!
"Steve Brown once put me through on goal and shouted 'stick it in the onion bag, liz!' I've always been a good cook so I sliced it and it made me cry."
I'm here all week ten seasons.
.......Just supposing in the summer that Lisbie got rejected by, erm, Colchester and couldn't get fixed up.
And Charlton had let him carry on training with the 1st team, like they did with Charlie McDonald, James Walker, etc.
With Varney injured early on, Marcus BigBollox gone, Toddy feckd and McLeod frozen scared sh*tless in the glare of car headlights - Lisbie could have been re-signed anytime as cover.
And voted player of the month for December - after his hatrick at West Brom sent Charlton top of the table.
There you go, I know you think I've lost it. ;o)
