High Peak Autos - bloke (Matt) from Stockport who runs a car dealership and documents buying cars and turning them around for sale.

Vice Grip Garage - a very southern American bloke who finds old classic American cars and trucks that have been sitting in fields for 30 years and tries driving them home.

Nothing flashy, just some down to earth stuff.

I've been watching more and more you tube over the years and even had a go at it myself but I was crap but its a learning experience and takes a lot of balls to get up in front of the camera.

So a big shout out to @ForeverAddickted who is far too modest to mention his own You Tube Channel, which I really enjoy watching.

I've said this to you before Neil, I just don't know how you have the patience to get the photos you do, let alone have the patience to film everything including the b-roll where you have to walk back on yourself.  Even a 3-4 mile walk must take forever.  And the time you put in, my god, my wife would kill me.

I'll be forever in awe of you my friend.  Your production levels are getting better and better too.

BTW, my wife has asked me several times, 'does he always talk...like...that...with spacing out your words?!'  I guess not, I assume its for more dramatic effect to draw the viewer in... well it works for me.

    Other than FA.

I'm also watching Thomas Heaton, one of the best landscape photographers there is.
I was a big fan of Alyn Wallace, a young welsh astrophotographer but sadly he passed away from Leukemia last year at the age of 34.  He was bloody awesome and his photography was jaw dropping.  Very sadly missed.

The Tech Chap is very good, does reviews of all techy things.

I like watching Petrol Ped, bit of a car fanatic.  The fella that does the Car Wow channel is brilliant, he should have done Top Gear.  God, I've got so many more.

More Spurs stuff that I can shake a stick at.

Thats the beauty of You Tube, you put it on, watch one video, then you can go down a right old rabbit hole of some wonderful stuff and some not so good stuff.

My son is a proper train nerd and watches Geoff Marshall's videos regularly. Which made it very exciting when we went on a tube to Wimbledon last year and bumped into Mr Marshall filming one of said videos!

Haha cheers mate, yeah never wanted to really advertise it here for some reason. Usually takes me about four hours to put together a video, and will end up walking about 6-miles in total with all the back and forth B-Roll crap.

To be honest the spaced... out... talking... Is just me trying to think of what I need to say, and I'm trying to remember the notes that I've scripted, the sections where my talking flows, is where I successfully whing it :D

Thanks for mentioning Alyn Wallace though, was incredibly sad what happened to him, and given the suddenness of his passing, I wondered what the issue could have been... Very sad to hear it was Leukemia... I need to watch some of his videos, as an Astrophotography company reached out to me, and send me a Star Tracker last month, so will need to do a video attempting that at some stage.

Oh awesome.  Have been thinking about buying a star tracker for ages but have held back knowing when I do eventually get one, I'm going to be going without a lot of sleep! lol.

Alyn's book is bloody awesome btw.  One of the best purchases I've made.

Been watching your walks for ages. Fleet river one was fascinating, you must do immense research.

YouTube.com/bunchofamateurs - often has Charlton references in the narration if that helps.

I’ve watched a lot of football ones and most of them are not much more than ok at the most (apart from the Charlton ones obviously). But one I came across was a Bournemouth one called Back Of The Net which I really enjoy bizarrely. Goes into a lot of detail and loads of content. It seems really professional to me, not that I’m an expert in making videos by any means
  • I quite like the football ones when we win and will watch absolutely anything Charlton related but these are some of the ones I watch. The better ones tend to have regular updates;

I do watch a lot of retirement planning ones but they can be a bit boring to say the least.

Haha cheers... I have looked into things like that, to maybe have my phone in front of me on the filming Camera, but unsurprisingly its all a bit too cumbersome to try and hold - I'm going to start breaking down my scripts a bit, so each time I hit record, I dont have to remember so much to say each time.

If your camera has a hot shoe you could get a phone holder that mounts onto that, I’m sure you’re already aware of all that stuff tho.
