I very rarely make comments on CL, but feel so incensed regarding the attitude of players who get paid lots of money and this is how they repay the fans in failing to acknowledge those who support them week in and week out!
It is a failing of the coach and his staff if the players are not doing this and if they are upset, just think how the supporters are feeling and they are the ones who pay who help pay their wages!
Clearly lacking discipline inside the club, and I am certain SCP would not accept this kind of behaviour, but his standards as we know were a lot higher than KR.
Good luck to SCP and his TEAM, outside bet for the playoffs!

To be fair he got slagged off here last week for NOT making defensive substitutions, with everyone saying he was naive for bringing on Aribo instead of a defensive player like Jackson or a CB. It's fucking amazing the amount of likes the people at the game get giving good insight to the WHOLE performance.
Good performance, shit last 5 mins, as usual but the team is scared and obviously on their mind.
Move on for christ sake, we were absolute dog shit a month ago, there is a light, just unlucky..
Bar 7 minutes in the past two games we'd be bossing the play off places and having teams worried about playing us.

I admit I wasn't there, but reading the match thread I don't recall hearing that we had a blatant penalty turned down, or a shot cross the line & not given, or a bad tackle go unpunished & then that player scoring for them.LouisMend said:

Not sure he got it wrong, he can’t force Fosu not to have a heavy touch after rounding the keeper, if he puts that in game over thanks very much, same with Joshs chance first half, he tried to shore it up with Jacko and Harry and it backfired, move on to Tuesday night. Sometimes think we get to strung up on last minute goals for and against1

Totally dominated the game no mention of Fosu missing an open goal in the second half. People blaming Robinson? The players should look at themselves, we have to take our chances, should have been out of sight, that shot at the end could have gone anywhere but unfortunately it fell to their player five yards out.4

Robinson can't take the blame for it all. Fosu missed the chance to seal the game not him.
But at same time, he decided to start Reeves and keep him on. He brought Lennon on and the things that's angering me the most tonight is that he again failed to sign a striker.
Relying on same couple of players to score all the time. Zyro a striker but a winger comes on up top? We finished the game with a shit CB at LB and a striker down the wing. Our striker is out on loan yet again and shit like Marshall and Reeves get starts.0 -

Happy to admit I wasn't at the game and that I don't think Robinson is up to the job - I note for the second week in the row he is blaming the team rather than taking responsibility himself. I said the same last week. Was at the game. It was a difficult game to analyse why we didn't win it. Certainly not scoring a second or third goal was a big factor, so I support Robinson's comments, players have to be more clinical. I thought we started the second half slowly, allowing Doncaster to grow into the game, although they didn't create any chances, it gave them a bit of momentum, although they didn't create any chances of note.
After we scored the first goal I would like to see Charlton on the front foot. The opposition have conceded and are desperate to get back into the game. I would like to see us take a few more risks, pushing forward for the second. What we have appeared to do in the last few games is play a bit deeper, playing more on the break, which would have worked if Reeves and Fosu had converted their chances.
With regards the substitutions I have never liked bringing on more defenders, it disrupts those around them, and the structure gets upset. If this is the tactic, then, like another poster, I would have gone 5 at the back. Bring on the extra centre half, but keep the full backs the same.
I feel sorry for Lennon. He is a centre half, and his default position is to defend the centre of the box, he was playing too narrow the moment he came on for daSilva. He is also just back from 18 months out and he is one of our own, and I dislike the abuse he is getting from the boo boys. Perhaps Robinson wants to give him more confidence, to be part of a winning team, but it didn't work, but I'm not going to criticise Lennon or Robinson for trying.
On individual players I thought the majority played pretty well. On Ben Reeves, I thought he did a good job playing higher up the pitch, supporting Maginess. The one I am concerned about is Marshall. I can't fault his work rate, closing down players bringing the ball out from the back, supporting Solly in covering the right hand side of the pitch. However if you think of his main job of playing wide, beating full backs and delivering inviting crosses for the forwards he has been disappointing. He doesn't seem to be able to beat a player and his crossing in recent games has been poor. I would play Kaikai in his position next game.
Disappointed, but not gutted, support inside the ground was great.6 -

I was talking to a German friend about why England lose on penalties. he said 'it's because you think you're going to lose on penalties'. He then said 'We know we're going to win on penalties. In fact we know we're going to win, full stop'.
We are the opposite of that. 'Expect the worst'. 'It's the hope that kills you'. These have become the Charlton philosophy/expectation. Whether it's based on experience or not it's a negativity that permeates the whole club, from fans to players. Need to break away from that.1 -
