Well this looks a lot more healthy. Newcastle held to a draw and Southampton lost to Sunderland. Newcastle's game in hand is against Blackburn though, so they'll expect 3 points from that. 9 from 3 while the rest of the top 8 are beating each other and we'd start to look competitive. But the downside of playing weaker sides over the next 3 games is our last 6 games will all be difficult ones.

Six points of promotion (kind of the like the Men's team and the top six).
Saw this article about revenue in 2025 made by about football club revenue. Does (if you scroll to the bottom) talk about the Women's Game. Mentions the Championship (without going into too much detail), but that got me thinking again about Charlton Women's side. Does anyone have any figures (about season ticket/revenue/attendances) about Charlton Women's revenue in comparison to other season?
Primary home game attendances (since I sometimes difficult to judge the away fixtures).
1 - 0 up after Newsham tapped in after a decent save. Pitch doesn't look good and it's raining again. Our efforts to play it around at the back are making me very nervous.
We've started creating more chances as the first half went on, but we really need a second goal. Sian Rogers in goal for them and doing well which adds to the frustration.
Finishes 3-0 following an OG. Bristol City beat Birmingham meaning we’re now just 2 points off top. Would extend to 4 if LCL win their game in hand but at least we’re in with a chance
A couple of interesting results recently means we're right back in the mix. It's out of our hands at the moment but a 3-0 win today, and our next 2 games being the bottom of the table sides in Blackburn and Pompey, anything less than another 6 points, and in a pretty convincing manner, is failure really.
The biggest game of the season will end up being against LCL

Next two at the very least are must wins. Really weird the parallels with the men’s side.
I didn’t get to watch, can anyone who did say how well Bissell played?
Good, professional performance. Sheffield United are awful, but we saw them off comfortably.
I agree with Swindon_Addick's comment about our attempts to play it out from the back in the first half – at times it looked like we didn't know what we wanted to do, and better sides will punish us. But I think the second goal did us a world of good, and we showed more composure throughout the second half. They only had two shots: one in the first half after a bit of a scramble in the box that went just wide, and one from outside the box which was a straightforward save for Sophie Newhouse, by which time it was 3-0 after an own goal from a free kick.
I was impressed with Bissell, who showed some nice touches and linked up well with Ellie Brazil in particular (it was also her shot that Newsham followed up for our opener). I'm also really glad that Brazil got a league goal for the first time in ages, even if it was from almost on the goalline. One negative for me was Katie Bradley, who underhit her passes a couple of times and at one point made the wrong decision to shoot from long range when she had at least two players open.
After going so long without a win in the league, it's good that we've now won two in a row. As others have said, we need to build on this by winning the next two to give ourselves any chance of promotion.

They have done well to get back in it after a poor run of results but with only one team getting promoted, there is little room for error and we may already have too much to do. Sadly.
Playing at a strange time today - usually 2pm. I wonder what the pitch would be like in a hour or so once the sun is on it more But I hear Blackburn have said that they couldn't play it any later than 1pm.
Looks like they were caught by a moderate frost, I was surprised to see a fair degree of ice on roofs and grass this morning in Peckham, did not thaw until about 10 to 11am as the sun was high.
Incredible - one division up you have clubs spending fortunes on players, yet in the Championship you have clubs unable to fulfil fixtures starting after 1pm, presumably because of the distances involved.
Temp was close to -2c overnight. I would guess that not expecting a frost, they did not put the frost covers on. That is a guess remember so could be wrong, but it would explain why the pitch was frozen when temp had droped to -2c only.

The frozen area was in the shade of the Jimmy Seed stand so no sun to help it thaw.
