Amos 7 Steady performance Solly 5.5 Not his best game, short of fitness DaSilva 8 Usual quality performance Lennon 5 Looked uncomfortable, some glaring errors Konsa 6.5 Aribo 7.5 Did well Kashi 7 Mavididi 8.5 MOM has made a real difference Reeves 5.5 Needs to show more Marshall 7 Starting to improve Magennis 6.5 Fosu 8 Great impact from the bench.
Amos - 6.5 Good save when Lennon had his moment and liked the way he forcibly reminded the bench that they need to deal with Bakayoko who wasn't being picked up by anyone Solly - 5.5 - Nowhere near his best but did drive the team forward late on DaSilva 6 - Decent game Lennon 3 - Lazy performance, and shows why he is only a stop-gap and not the solution Konsa 5 - If he is getting done by Bakayoko, imagine what a decent player would show him up to be! Aribo 6.5 - Quiet first half, despite his goal, but better in second when linking play well Kashi 5 - Still too negative but had a good second half Mavididi 8 - A real handful, if only he would get his head up and pass sometimes he would be fantastic Reeves 5.5 - Did OK and provided an out many times but still not fully fit Marshall 6.5 - Assist for first goal and did some good work, but can be frustrating at times, showing why he plays in this league Magennis 6.5 - Decent game, won lots of headers and unlucky not to score on a couple of occasions; one goal and we may see the flood gates open! Fosu - 7 - Looked good and linked great with Mavididi Jackson - 5 - Sublime cameo from the skipper where he even touched the ball (twice!)
Robinson got the tactics right today and pushed Mavididi forwards into a 4-4-2 which Walsall could not cope with.
Amos 7 Solly 6 not quiet the player of last season, maybe this years injuries getting ti him. DaSilva 8 Lennon 4 Sorry he was verging on being a liability ,and with ball at feet looks uncomfortable which gives rise to poor passes. Konsa 6 no way he is worth 34 million.
Aribo 7 walsall fans on the train to London thought him are best player Kashi 6 best performance for a while
Mavididi 8 has made a difference, uses his pace well mainly, occasionally tries to do to much. Reeves 5 poor game. Marshall 6
Magennis 6 hold up play was great, also won many headers so does contribute to the team.
Amos 7- Really rate this lad, Rudd came with the reputation but much prefer Amos. Solly - 6.5 difficult game but felt he grew into it. Konsa - 7 Thought he had another good game, showed great pace a couple of times to get back at Bakayoko. Lennon - 5.5 I'm a big fan of his but he struggled but as others said he kept plugging away and one really great tackle at 1-1 Da Silva - 8 IT's getting boring repeating how good he is and how good he will be, future battle with Sessogon (Sp) for the England left back spot. Marshall - 7 This lads work rate is immense, not happening for him going forward but really does protect the full back and of course also got an assist. Mavididi - 8.5 (MOTM) Brilliant little player, was fuming he never cut the ball back to Joe for a tap in and was (wrongly) berating Robinson for not subbing him as I thought his legs had gone at end and then he scores after sprinting through Kashi - 7.5 Kashi is Kashi, simple but effective. Really good player and big part of our last 20 minutes winning the ball back. Aribo - 8 Great to see him getting a run in the team and really earning his spot, hope Robbo keeps him in rather than bring back JFC as for me its his shirt to lose right now. Reeves - 6 Poor and no where near the levels he reached last week, played a fantastic ball through to Josh just before being subbed. Mcgennis - 7 Actually better than he has been, really bulled their centre back but just lacking the goal at the minute. Fosu - 8 Great cameo, always a threat and great flick to send Mavididi away.
Jacko - N/a KAG -N/a
Real joy to watch at times, so many threats with ball at there feet.
Amos - 6 Very little to do, but what he had to do, did competently. No chance with the goal. Showed an eagerness to distribute quickly.
Solly - 5.5 Clearly not match fit, showing real lack of engine. Performed much better with Marshall helping out in front of him. I was pretty critical of how short of match fitness he was showing, after his lay off, and then Fosu came on...
DaSilva - 7 Another top performance from the pocket dynamo. Great work rate, and a willingness to take people on.
Lennon - 5 Like Solly, clearly not match fit. Doesn't run at all when Charlton have the ball. Short passing is OK, but long passing is woeful, as shown in the lead up to Walsall's goal. However, you have to feel sorry for a player who is constantly being barracked for passing the ball short and sideways, who is THEN barracked for messing up the long ball the fans are demanding! After the game, must have wanted to lay down in a dark room. His lack of experience showed.
Konsa - 6.5 Unlike Lennon, has the pace to cover his (and his teammates) errors.
Aribo - 7.5 Extra 0.5 for the well taken goal. Great energy in the first half, but seems to fade as the game goes on.
Kashi - 6.5 Another decent performance. Constantly running around the pitch, breaking up attacks. Passing more progressive than in recent games.
Mavididi - 8 MoTM Love watching him play. His first thought is always to beat the nearest opposition player. Pace, power, skill, and strength. Gave Walsall's defenders more than they could handle. And some. Shame that shot in the first half didn't go in. Would have been a shoe in for Goal of the Season.
Reeves - 6 Bear with me now. Some of our best football was played when he was in the no. 10 position. I think he has suffered from playing 2nd fiddle to Ricky Holmes. Delivery from corners and free kicks sooooooo much better then Holmes'. Then, when we changed formation and Marshall moved to the left (yes, which led to the assist for the first goal) and he moved to the right, it went pear shaped very quickly. He is in no way a winger, especially a right one. One delightful ball leading to Josh's one-on one. Not his fault Josh fluffed his lines...
Marshall - 7.5 A fine performance. As well as his assist, a number of very good crosses. It shouldn't be underestimated the defensive work he did, covering his (clearly not fully fit) skipper. No wonder he went down with cramp at the end.
Magennis - 6.5 A better performance. Putting aside the muffed one-on one, unlucky with a good header that hit the post. Also, looked less petulant than of late.
Subs
Fosu - 7.5 I expected a fairly leisurely, half pace game, as he eased his way back in. I couldn't have been more wrong. Pace, aggressive, and tricky. Like he hadn't been away. If he stays fit, he and Mavididi will give defences a lot of sleepless nights from now until the end of the season.

Just watched the full game on VP, can I add marks or is the rule live only? @lancashire lad
don't know what VP is but if you watched the complete game yes you can mark
Awesome, VP = Valley Pass, somehow I managed to get my free trial access for the whole season - haven't paid a penny for it! Amos - 7 - Did what he could with most attempts Solly 7 DaSilva 7 Lennon 7 - Early mistakes put Amos under pressure, but definitely recovered. Konsa 7 - Wavered between looking brilliant and getting done too easily. Lennon covered a couple of his bloopers. Aribo 8 - What a player... Best academy product in years. Only Shelvey made as much impact so soon. Kashi 7 - Solid enough Mavididi 8.5 - Very unlucky not to leave with a hat-trick. Reeves 7 - Looked okay, ran his nuts off, unlucky not to get an assist in the first 30 mins. Marshall 7.5 - Improving steadily as the season wears on. Magennis 6 - Not poo, but is a striker and isn't scoring. Hopefully he can be rested soon. Fosu 8.5 - Game changer. You can see why, when we had Ricky and Tarique we tore defences open more often. Jackson 6 - Steady Eddie, came on and did what was needed, without ever shining. Robinson planned this game well. The change of Reeves for Fosu completely threw Walsall, just a sign of what can be achieved when Robinson has his best tools available. Can only hope the new signings are as useful.
Amos 7.5, really like him and think he would stay if we went up Solly 6, clearly not match fit DaSilva 8, class Lennon 6, not his day Konsa 7, him and Lennon is not a great pairing
Aribo 8, taking his chance to show what he can do Kashi 7.5, best game for a while, red card waiting to happen the amount of times he slides in to challenges
Mavididi 8.5, MOM, I wasn't as excited some when he came back but he is proving me wrong. Reeves 6.5, not living up to the hype Marshall 7.5, getting better, hope he has a strong second half of the season
Magennis 7, unlucky not to score, needs a goal for his confidence
