Amos: 8 - kept us in the game at 1-0
Solly: 5 - gave away silly penalty
Konsa: 6 - very comfortable on the ball
Sarr: 7 - worth the admission fee alone
    DaSilva: 7 - great technique
Aribo: 5 - faded badly and sometimes too casual - unlucky with header against post
Marshall: 5 - saw plenty of ball but little end product
    Forster-Caskey: 6 - solid with great workrate
    Clarke: 4 - largely anonymous
Holmes: 6 - tried to make things happen but roughed up by Pompey
Magennis: 5 - isolated in this formation

Robinson - 3 - tactically inflexible; team might benefit if he spent more time worrying about them and less about the officiating

    Amos 7.5 great penalty save
Solly 5 not good - one decent cross at the end
Konsa 6 - largely OK but a few little mistakes and misplaced headers
Sarr 7.5 overran it a couple of times but otherwise immense
JDS 7.5 MOM if only all our players were as good as him
Aribo 6 won it well, lost it better
Marshall 5 loves a blind alley
JFC 6 kept it going but couldn't make an impact
Clarke 5 tasked with unlocking Portsmouth he failed comprehensively
Holmes 5 set-pieces mostly better this time. Completely wasteful on the ball though
Magennis 4 the Official Scapegoat, and doesn't look like changing this any time soon
  • Options
Amos: 8 +1 for pen save which was brilliant
Solly: 5 - hmmm, needs to go unfortunately doesnt give us very much now.
    Konsa: 6 Solid.
    Sarr: 6 Solid
    DaSilva: 7 clever player
Aribo: 7 thought he did well today
Marshall: 4 - feck me , how many blind alleys are there?
    Forster-Caskey: 6 ok
    Clarke: 6 ok
Holmes: 4 feck me, how many blind alleys are there, and then you fall over?.
Magennis: 2 a total fecking liability - i'd rather we bring in someone from the youth or from non-league - rather than this waste of space, cant head, wont run,no skill donkey.

Amos - 8 great penalty save kept us in the game.
Solly - 3 bullied by Lowe all game. Especially second half. Gave away a stupid penalty when the player was never reaching the ball anyway.
Sarr - 5 50% of the things he did came off, the other 50 put us in danger.
    Konsa - 6 pretty solid
De silva - 7 thought he played well down the left hand side. Controlled it on his own when Holmes went walkabout.
Aribo - 5 first half played well but disappeared second half
F-c - 5 poor passing all game and didn't really offer much
Holmes - 6 few things came off but few and far between
Marshall - 6 tried but has only one foot and once Portsmouth figured that out he didn't have a chance
Magennis - 4 bullied by their back line all game.
Clarke - 4 offered nothing really.

Solly: 6 couldn’t see the penalty incident but was ok

Sarr: 5.5 largely good but makes too many mistakes
    DaSilva: 7 our best threat
Aribo: 6.5 very good first half, faded in the 2nd
Marshall: 6 put some decent balls in but magennis is terrible
    Forster-Caskey: 6 bottled a 50/50 near the end -0.5
Clarke: 6.5 looked a tad rusty but played well
Holmes: 6 gets doubled up on every week, did ok
Magennis: 2.5 Best did more in 10 minutes than Magennis has done in the last 3/4 games, no brain, no ability

Amos: 8 for the penalty save
Solly: 5, ripped by their player, poor penalty to give away
    Konsa: 5.5, average
Sarr: 5.5 ditto although a few great passes
DaSilva: 7.5 MOM, guy should;t be in league 1
Aribo: 6.5 First half probably 7.5 second half 5
Marshall: 6.5 great cross that I was screaming at magennis for the few seconds before to move it.....
Forster-Caskey: 6, not his finest game
Clarke: 7 did OK for first game back
Holmes: 5.5, thought he was poor today (for his standards)
Magennis: 4.5 up on his own just isn't working, great own goal so at least he's scoring.

    At the game

Amos: 8. Best game he’s had for us.

Solly: 5. Good first half. Least said about the second the better

Konsa: 6. Entertaining in his own way

Sarr: 6.5 slightly more entertaining in his own way

DaSilva: 7 played very well. Little support.

Aribo: 6. Good first half. Poor second.

    Marshall: 4. For a lightning winger he’s f*****g slow!!

    Forster-Caskey: 5. Meh.

Clarke: 4.5. Not match fit. Tried some good stuff that just didn’t work out.

Holmes: 4. Getting worse by the game. Reduced to diving by the last ten minutes. Better crossing today but generally not at the races.

Magennis 3. Useless. I’ve been cutting him a lot of slack for ploughing a lone furrow and being a good guy. But he’s just not up to it. Never got close to winning a header and has the touch of a rhinoceros. Lost his head towards the end. Apart from that.........

Amos: 7.5 - helpless w the goal conceded. Great pen save and a couple other good saves too

Solly: 5 - looked tired and out of place for the final 20min. Exhausted himself early going too far forward on rather pointless runs.

Konsa: 6 - did okay. Nothing fantastic nor awful.

Sarr: 6.5 - only one or two silly moments in posession. Won most his header challenges.

DaSilva: 7 - consistently a good performer. Calm on the ball. He didnt get as many crossing opportunities per her usual quota.

Aribo: 6 - reads the game well defensively but too many loose passes on the ball. No real game changing ability .

Marshall: 5 - dribbles laterally too often. A few nice runs down flank were cancelled out by poor crossing.

Forster-Caskey: 6 - didnt have much freedom to get forward with Kashi out.

Clarke: 4.5 - boring CF. Not sure what his greatest strength is. Hes not big enough to hold the ball up nor quick enough to unlock the defense. No link up play either.

Holmes: 6.5 - set piece delivery was good. Too bad our desire to win a header is minimal. Should hv played a better square ball to Magennis when into goal. Not sure if he shot that cuz it was no where near a red shirt

Magennis: 4 - So frustrating to watch. Great ball after great ball crossed into the box and hes nowhere to be found. For a big guy hes rather soft too.
  • Options
Amos: 8 - Could do nothing about the goal, only player to turn up
Solly: 5 - Thought it was Konsa who gave the pen, even more shocked to hear it was Solly!!
Konsa: 6 - Pretty standard from him
Sarr: 6.5 - Tried to ping the ball around yet ended coming back to him
Dasilva: 6.5 - Did well going forward in the first half, didnt notice him much in the second
Aribo: 6 - Thought he drifted in and out of the game at times
Marshall: 5 - Not the best winger in the League by a long way, looks out of his depth
Forster-Caskey: 6 - Tried but nothing paid off, his passing was suspect today
Clarke: 6 - Good to see him back
Holmes: 6 - Not having a good run at the moment
Magennis: 6 - Won a good few headers yet no one wanted to run off them

Amos: 6 Saved the penalty and was steady on everything other occasion.
Solly: 5 Got roasted by their left winger. Poor.
    Konsa: 6 Did OK.
Sarr: 6 Shades of his former self with some poor decision making.
DaSilva: 6 Gave away a stupid free kick for their winner.
Aribo: 5.5 Apart from one header onto the post was poor.
Marshall: 5 Poor crossing. Brought little else to the game.
Forster-Caskey: 6 showed his frailties with Clarke beside him.
Clarke: 5 Maybe should not have started, way off the pace.
Holmes: 6.5 Only player who created anything but what little he created wen to waste.
Magennis: 3 Very lazy, caught offside a lot, moaned too much, should have had a booking for elbowing one of theirs. Didn’t see how the goal went in but gave the ball away in the first half that almost led to them scoring. Should be dropped.
