Karl Robinson will not let any- body leave Charlton Athletic after Tuesday night – 24 hours earlier than the deadline for the winter transfer window.
The Addicks signed Crystal Palace winger Sullay Kaikai, right, on Friday. He is their fifth loan capture of the season – the most they can play in any matchday squad. Defender Ezri Konsa has attracted interest from Brighton and Everton.
Robinson said: “We’ve had no offers. I’m saying nobody can leave after Tuesday. If we had loans available then going later than that is fine – but we don’t. To try and get a permanent done is a lot more difficult.”
If Konsa was to go then one player still believed to be on Robinson’s radar is Sheffield United midfielder Samir Carruthers.
**Waits for Konsa to be sold a minute before the deadline with no replacement**
Unless Richard Murray plays ball, I'm not sure how Roland can sell him.

thought there was a couple of suits over from Belgium looking after things?

Wasn't that just the financial side of things given David Joyes imminent departure?

Are transfers not on the financial side of things then?

Would Belgian nationals be au fait with transfer dealings over here then? KM certainly wasn't! I thought Murray / Chris Parkes would have been dealing with that, but that is just my guess.

Luckily Richard Murray hasn't got any previous form selling our best players in January.
Every transfer deadline day I watch SSN in a mixture of shock and awe. I love football but the way they hype it is beyond ridiculous and then nothing happens and they have to carry on the hysteria talking about what might have happened.
Robbo says price goes up every day in January, and on the last day I would think every hour. Robbo should tell them it’s £10 mil and rising.
It is far too late to find a replacement and I hate clubs that do this. They have been tracking him for months now and to leave it this late to put in an offer, (if they have indeed done so), would be disrespectful to our club and to us fans.
I suspect it maybe his agent putting his name back out there so he can earn some money.
Exactly. If it was the Summer, with time to use transfer funds to develop the squad, and owners who are ambitious for the club to do well on the field, then you might take £6.5m for Konsa, and stick add-ons in there too.
But to sell him now, with the Belgian still in charge to help himself to the club's assets, and on the last day of the window to make it impossible to sign a replacement, would be bad news.

Having said that a pay-as-you-play might be worth a punt. As long as he behaves himself. If not bin him
Please make sure you use the correct threads. We don't want to become a disorganised rabble, just like that lot down the road.
Thank you for your cooperation.

@i_b_b_o_r_g has been an inspiration with how he keeps a lid on things and never fails to chase up all queries.
