It was a really good evening, sadly curtailed by the poor guys health issue. Very much hope he is ok now.
Powelly was Powelly - he oozes integrity and his love affair with Charlton and it’s fans is still burning brightly.
Curbs was to me surprisingly engaging. Humble and funny in a way that I just hadn’t expected. His story about signing Di Canio and the ice baths was very good.
Finally, a great cause. Sign up to sponsor SCP for the London Marathon and @Tracey for the bike ride to Amsterdam. Every £ helps fight prostate cancer.
I must say , it was a great night and this proves what a great club and fans we have . The paramedic was a Charlton supporter , he couldn’t believe what he had walked into . He Asked me to take some photos of him with his hero’s.

Sadly cut a little short but was very good to see the fella who was taken ill led away on his feet by a paramedic once the evening was finished. Also like to second what louis said about AFKA acting quickly and calling an ambulance.
Curbs was unbelievable and so funny. Powell was his usual charming self. Some great stories about di canio and good to get real clarity about why curbs actually left us. Powells reaction everytime ownership was mentioned was priceless. I too found myself getting a little emotional at times, as these two blokes are the only Charlton I have ever known, having attended my first game as a 5 year old in 2000. Also Powell talking about his englan cap, I had a vivid flash back to a poster I had of him on my old bedroom wall in his England kit.
Got a photo with leeburn too, although i think we upset him when we told him we were looking forward to showing our dads! Made him feel a little old! Myself in the middle looking very short and @yanntheman

Hope the health thing is minor.
Didn't know Freddie Mercury was a West Ham fan

Good to see a few lifers there and enjoyed a beer with @AFKABartram @NomadicAddick and @Yanntheman after.

Best wishes to the guy that was ill.
Best wishes Brian
Was a great night, I went through about 30 different emotions through the course of the evening
I welled up a bit watching SCP and liked his reference to swearing cos he mentioned the scum.
I’m coming back as a fucking lunatic after reincarnation and someone will pay with a lot of pain and misery for stopping him being at this club.
