No Premiership scores please - remember that there are loads of people walking around with the fingers in their ears going "la, la, la" until 10.30 this evening.
Including Wayne Hennessey hopefully in his bid to join the Perry Suckling Hall of Fame
They have it, Cole loses out to Sarr, and we build a break, Holmes to Mag, not a great pass and they scramble back to get it away. Throw, Mag to Konsa, infield to Holmes, who turns his man. Faces the touchline, to the corner, crosses... blocked. Throw by the flag.
Holmes has it, over to Clarke but they intercept, and break. Kashi breaks it down by tracking back well. Gives it away, but Holmes wins it back, to Clarke, back to Holmes on the break, onto his left... FOSU!!!! GOOOOALL
Pond, central but JDS gets in there, nicely done, then there's a foul not given. Fosu blocked. We get a throw. Bauer to Konsa, finds Mag, turns James Pond, nearly gets round the keeper but Cairns jumps on the ball. Great chance.
Clarke on the run from Holmes on the right, onto his left, chips into the box... James Pond 2: RoboCod clears. Bulger now has it, Fosu pressures him back to the keeper. Someone screams "FORWARD YOU CUNT!" really loudly on the commentary.
Cole has it up top, to Coyle who finds Bulger, eventually to Patrick Dempsey, he looks for Coyle, first itme ball into box but cleared. Clarke forces a throw.
Sounds sensible from reports of last week. Hope he is OK long term..
What reports were they?
Only comments from Lifers. One said they thought he was poor because he was injured and should have told the bench.
Someone said the two players to pick up knocks were Clarke and Solly.
I was one of the ones who said if Solly picked up a knock on Tuesday night that it would explain the way he played, and also that he should have told the bench. He looked completely out of sorts on Tuesday. Don't know if it was a knock or just bad day at the office. Either way, Ez has looked good so far. Looks a more mature and composed player than last year.
