A prayer for the new season

I pray that this very day next year we will not be getting up in the morning, hearts in mouths, gathering together all our Charlton gear, and preparing to travel down Wembley Way.....

I pray that we will be watching on our TVs, safe in the knowledge that we are already promoted back to the Premiership, free season ticket in hand [metaphorically!], and glad that we don't have to go through that heart-stopping, life expectancy reducing event once again!!

Afterwards, yes, but we were underdogs last time - if it happens next year we'd be under enormous pressure.
