Picked up my copies at the Museum on Saturday. A superb book, would recommend it to any fan, even those still boycotting. Have only managed to read about the players I grew up watching in the 70s, but can't wait to read about the ones I was too young to see but my late Dad has told me about. Well worth £10 of anyone's money.
Thoroughly recommend the book, perhaps especially for fans going back to the Sam Bartram days and the Flannagan/Hales era. I use it all the time for Chizz's "Born on this Day". I wrote to the publishers as a matter of interest to get their ok (on the condition I didn't use photos). Haynes Publishing were very accomodating.
Half expected to see the picture of Paul Walsh in the shower just to show we are not a one trick pony (Hales)
