Right me and another bloke from work had a toad in the hole off and so far amazingly it's about 50/50 on who's is better according to our friends. I think this is a stitch up. What do you think? A or B?
I could do either serious damage as dinner is not even on yet and I'm Hank Marvin, however in terms of appearance it's a) for me the batter has risen nicely whereas b) looks a bit stodgy. Apologies if b) was your effort and of course the proof of the pudding is in the eating .

B is boringly efficient.
Oil for the batter in B wasn't hot enough before batter poured in hence it ain't risen to the occasion!! Looks stodgy as well.
But it only looks about 5 out of ten
A cos the batter looks better
B looks like it's been made by a 4 year old.
Harsh but I'm judging by Masterchef standards.
