Possibly getting a villa in Tuscany for summer hols next year.
Never been there so any recommendations as to location, villa, contacts, restaurants, sightseeing etc would be much recommended.
Also, I have some current mobility issues so, rather than hiring a car, I am thinking of hiring a car and driver for the duration for airport transfers, evening meals, daytime trips, shopping etc. Anyone know if this is feasible and, if so, have a recommendation?

Don't dismiss Umbria or even Lazio, cheaper and just as nice....a bit like Provence V Languedoc-Roussillon in France.1

Completely agree. Umbria is beautiful and you're much less likely to bump into people from Islington.Hastingsaddick said:Don't dismiss Umbria or even Lazio, cheaper and just as nice....a bit like Provence V Languedoc-Roussillon in France.
