Enjoying working with Jacko and Bowyer.

Jacko will make a great manager.

Bowyer is fairly quiet but knows what he wants and has a lot of respect from the squad,

Intends to be a coach himself eventually.
  • All optimism has to be tempered by acknowledging that Ipswich really lack intensity... but very good from us so far. Everyone is busy and pressing well. Players look comfortable in possession, even under pressure. Also showing the lie to the idea that one up front is always defensive. Clarke, Holmes and Fosu all playing close to Big Mag, not 30 yards behind him as has been the way in the past, and the 3 are interchanging well giving a fluidity to our play. If we can do this when it matters we are going to score plenty just on sheer weight of chances created.

    Must keep Big Mag.

Its a mick macarthy tean friendly or not he will be fuming at the scoreline. Roll on next week

Pearce wants to be captain at some stage, but KR made it clear that Solly is currently captain.

Kashi give JFC the freedom to play further up the pitch and means he pulls the strings going forward.

Our attacking play looks similar to basketball movements. JFC air Kashi at the base spreading balls to either side of the pitch. Our forwards all moving around and interchanging. We try and go one way then come back and Go the other way. And the man at the base is always there to receive the ball and start again. Very fluid and great movement.

We are throwing it to each other?

Ipswich have rung the changes at the break, bringing on Iorfa, Webster and Dozzell for Spence, Smith and Rowe.

And now it's 5-0! Would Reeves even get into the side on this evidence? Ricky Holmes with an absolute beauty in the top corner which has the keeper beaten all ends up.

Should imagine Mick "what riot where?" Mcarthey has given them a rocket at half time. Should be a good test.

51' Build-up down the right saw the ball fall to Holmes on the edge of the box. He hits a first-time effort straight over the keeper. #cafc

What are the chances on the northern Irish Ronaldo getting his hat-trick?
  • Roll on the season. Absolutely taking the p**s, no doubt people will say they are poor, but you still have to create chances and put them away. The future is looking bright

Do wonder how we can sustain this sort of pressing over 46 games this season!!... Although its a good reprieve after the UCD result!!
