leading on from the massives thread, is there any derbies where you prefer one to the other;
for me;
sunderland over newcastle.
spurs over arsenal.
rovers over bristol city.
united over wednesday.

The teams I'd pick are first
Newcastle - Sunderland
Spurs - Arsenal
Bristol City - Rovers
United - Wednesday
Forest - Derby
I'd add
Rangers - Celtic
Everton - Liverpool
Norwich - Ipswich
Swansea - Cardiff
Brighton - Palace
Brentford - QPR
Dont give a toss about
Man Utd / Man City
Chelsea / West Ham
Aston Villa / Birmingham0 -
Used to like seeing Man City beat Man U but couldn't care less nowadays.5
-
Always pick Celtic over Rangers as it seems to irritate the right sort of people9
-
(I'm sure there are many in the opposite boat!)1
-
I want Celtic and Rangers to get docked points as I hold them both in equal contempt. Any club that is built around bigotry is a waste of time.5
-
That's also fair, and yeah it'd be nice if Aberdeen or someone won the title0
-
Don't really care about many other teams apart from our own. Will support whichever side is doing well / need the points / will do us a favour / will send the Palarse or Millwall down.
I'm not a Protestant or a Catholic so really don't care what the Jocks do0 -
Oh - Villa over Birmingham is the only one I feel much about in England0
-
Arsenal over Spurs
Rangers over Celtic
Sunderland over N'castle
Brighton over Palace
Man U over Liverpool
Watford over Luton
Cambridge over Posh
Atletico over Real
Sevilla over Betis
Valencia over Levante
In West London derbies, I'd back whichever one of the other three that Chelsea are playing0 -

I tend to pick the team in red. Except Arsenal and Bristol City.0
-
id add villa over birmingham aswell.0
-
Spurs over Arsenal
Celtic over Rangers
Swindon over Oxford
Atletico over Real
Espanyol over Barcelona
Betis over Sevilla
Slavia Prague over Sparta
Comunicaciones over Municipal (Guatemala City, where wife is from: her family are big fans of Las Cremas)2 -
Oh, Spurs over Arsenal goes without saying, it's implicit in the fixture3
-
What tends to happen with me in derbies is I sort of root for one team to start with but when they score, I start rooting for the other team. I suppose this means that I don't really care.2

Millwall>Palace if we're counting the latter as London and not Surrey0
-
Would never pick a side for that DerbyMacronate said:Millwall>Palace if we're counting the latter as London and not Surrey
All I ever hope for is that a big sink hole will appear halfway through the match ridding us of their existences2 -
Everton over Liverpool
Sunderland over Newcastle
Southampton over Portsmouth
Athletico over Real
Don't think there are any others I care about0 - Sponsored links:

Welling over Charlton (sorry, but really struggled to think of a rival you have
)
7 -
Newcastle strong preference over Sunderland
Like both Spurs and Arsenal
Don't care about Bristol Rovers and Bristol City
Sheff United over Wednesday
Mild preference for Forest over Derby0 -
Hearts over Hibs3
-
Would have thought the only non-Millwall related local derby you'd take an interest in would be C-Wing against D-Wing at the Scrubs.Big_Bad_World said:Welling over Charlton (sorry, but really struggled to think of a rival you have

Mind you, I suppose that is a Millwall-related derby really, what with it effectively being Millwall against Millwall.6 -
Which fine institute of her majesty were the Charlton train chanting racists sent to?MrLargo said:

I'm sure we could both cobble together a best XI5 -
We could "cobble together a best XI". You lot generally have enough on holiday at the same time for a youth academy, an U23 side, a 'B' team and a first team squad.Big_Bad_World said:
