I can only guess that the ref initially thought it hit her hand directly and when she found out that the defender had actually kicked it onto her hand she decided it wasn't intentional or unnatural handball? It seemed really harsh to me, when the penalty was awarded, no way was that intentional. Unusual for referees to change their mind like that, was the 4th official involved perhaps?DRAddick said:
