The sacred Valley turf

Looking at my football boots yesterday, there is mud and grass caught round the studs.

Now folks, this is the genuine article.......real Valley turf.

I was going to be really anal and scrape it off and put it into a sample plastic envelope, seal it and put it in my sock draw where it will be treasured for all time.

But Mrs Oggy thinks I should plant it in an egg cup, water and nurture it and Lo! I have The Valley pitch in my own front room.

Its a dilemma.....what should I do?

You gotta have a bit of Valley turf in the garden, dug up loads at the last game at the valley.

Took it home replanted brand new. Problem is we moved house might have to go back and dig it one day ;-)

I had a piece of the old valley turf growing in my garden (I dug up before we went to Scumsville). It was growing lovely until I came home from work one day and my Dad had replaced it with lettuces grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
