Japanese group acquire minority stake in Sint Truiden

The Japanese online company DMM.com becomes a minority shareholder of Sint-Truiden. Through this collaboration, ain't Truiden want to "promote the sport's sporty and commercial growth".

"With this partnership, STVV will strengthen and gain access to the Japanese market", so it sounds on the club website. "In the meantime, it's supposed to be playing some Japanese top talent at STVV and giving the club a broader look at the commercial level."

DMM.com mainly focuses on e-commerce and the Internet.

Sint-Truiden on Thursady saw coach Ivan Leko leave for Club Brugge.
