It's time for a comparison with our rivals, Millwall and Palace.
2017-18 will be the 90th season with all three clubs in the league. For 52 of those seasons Charlton have been in a division above either Palace or Millwall. For 32 of those seasons Charlton have been in a division above both Palace and Millwall. For 14 of those seasons Charlton have been two divisions above both Palace and Millwall. But that was then and this is now: 2017-18 will be the 5th consecutive season that Charlton will be a division lower than Palace. This has only happened once before 1969-1974. 2017-18 will only be the 8th time that Charlton have been in a division lower than Millwall. 2017-18 will be only the second time that Charlton will have a combined deficit of 3 divisions on our rivals.
For those that say the regime have learnt their lessons and that we should give them another chance, how bad do things have to get before you wake up? Perhaps the pivot table below will help you to understand. 2017-18 will be our joint worst season ever in comparison to our rivals. Duchatelet has to go. He and his vile regime are wrecking our club. OK, he cannot be blamed for the fact that palace are in the Prem, but actually another piss poor showing this season against Millwall allowed them into the play-offs and gifted them an opportunity. Credit to them, they took it. That's better than we'd have managed. Sofas, House Music, Dancing... we are being run by cretins. Just go!

I have a sneaky suspicion that you are slightly peeved by this result
Listening on 5live, Steve Claridge went totally OTT about the Milwall fans response to the memorial in the 56th minute for the victims of the Bradford fire. I would have expected him to say something like - good to see it was both sets of fans joining in / observing it and leave it at that. What he said was " you know what, every single Millwall fan was standing and applauding there, they get such bad press the Millwall fans".
You may as well praise them for breathing in and out ! It should go without saying that you observe anything perfectly that is a memorial to football fans that died in a fire at a football match. What about mentioning on air that we all must never forget what happened, and that two Lincoln fans died too , which is sometimes overlooked.
Until we start calling a spade a spade and telling things as they are , in all walks of life, in all subject areas, we are doomed. Claridges words about the 56th minute were then undone by the very people who had talked up, when they showed their true colours / their real selves at the end of the game. Yet another Millwall first - first pitch invasion at the New Wembley.
Ask yourself this: Could CAFC (with our top 6 budget and players) have gone to Scunny and won? Then gone to Wembley and beat a side that had 3 defeats in their last 16 ?

"Yeah, so after 15 cans of wife beater I stood there, opened my mouth and ate some human remains.....as you can see I'm just passing them through, you can see their foot coming out my arse"
