So exhausted by this regime i feel like they have kicked the guts out me. Even the takeover I was excited about a year ago no longer means as much. The end game was far worse than I expected, he totally fucked up his ownership then stripped us. Gonna take some real back to the walls stuff to get everyone back and interested.
This new ownership need to have a well thought out plausible plan to present. They'll get things wrong as they are human but just an invested interest and I don't just mean the financial one.
The only person who won is RD we have had four seasons of decline we have become a laughing stock and example of how not to run a club , we have sold players who should’ve been the light in the dark times for shitty amounts and RD has benefited and he has got by the looks of it the majority of his wish amount back
If Paul Elliot is to be chairman, that would be awesome!! Pick his brains on the club when he’s having a pint at the White Lion in Locksbottom I’ve never been itk lol Who knows, I could end up itk. Who cares. Get the club sold and give us hope again!
I really don't get the excitement over Elliot becoming chairman ( if that happens) What exactly is it that a chairman does, chairs meetings etc. Do they have any power ?
Monday takeover not good timing for me for work related reasons could someone please ask Le Rat to hold off until Friday NZ time so I can properly celebrate.

They can hold all the power or very little, depending what their role is. Murray was owner/Chairman years ago with all the power and yet last year he was non executive Chairman with no power.
My main concern with Paul Elliott who has always been articulate is how discerning is he. Picking Richard Rufus as your financial advisor doesn't bode well. I can't wait to see this deal in black and white. This struggling football club needs a boost, it has been a comedy club for the last 5 years (Probably 95 years) enough is enough. Tomorrow is the starter, for the main course on Monday. May the future be sweet.
No way!
Sorry James, Just feels like 95 years. The great Jimmy was fantastic considering the lukewarm response from the Glikstens.
Surely worth using up the rest of protest fund to put up a “we won” poster?
Yeah, right opposite the useless fucker's house.
Depends how much he sold us for.
At this point I couldn't give a shit, it's not over yet but it doesn't seem far away. Without the protests at The Valley & especially in Belgium who knows how long he would have been here & where we would end up. Well done everyone who protested, boycotted, gave their time, money & passion to rid this wonderful Football (not dancing) Club of this cancerous regime. The 12th man as he called us totally rejected his ideas & we have (almost) succeeded. I now wait for my first visit to The Valley since the Burnley game.

And right now he still ain’t gone
You need the lows to appreciate the highs.
The mantra of every heroin Addick.
Didn't we used to have a poster on here called Heroin Addick?
