I have some clarity on the situation. Price had been agreed with two parties ie the price that will get the deal over the line. But neither party has met this.
This reads like potential purchasers can't meet Duchatelets asking price, even if it is miles too high. My pessimism is fuelled by this and my thoughts that he wants the whole of the staprix debt cleared despite the reckless way it was created. Seems like square one to me. Who is running the gaff in the meantime?
Murray supposedly, yet he cannot word a statement properly without nousing it up!
Please could someone kindly summarize what Red Henry has confirmed.
Thanks .
He's confirmed that his lot don't have black hair, are foreign (if you live in Britain), don't have a moustache and haven't agreed anything but do have a lot of money. His reputation is firmly on the line with that lot.

You've stated they are Brits or Aussies, right?
1 of each
@DOUCHER the British bid is it a consortium or 1 person and are they rich?
OK, I have never claimed to be ITK before. And I have never claimed to have a hotline to any "sources" within - or outside - the club. Until now.
I can confirm that I have received information that sheds some light on the slightly convoluted statement that was released yesterday.
In short, I can confirm that there are two potential buyers. And that a price has been agreed. But it's the two buyers that have agreed the price. With each other.
WTF is going on. Weirdest takeover ever

This is there response.
In the future when the Evening standard claim to be in the know you know who they have been talking to
