Love the fact everyone and his dog knows DD has been done but haven't got a Scooby as to who by.
We know exactly who it was done by, but as it was a shell company it doesn’t prove who the money was. In fact, the reason to assume there was any money is the unlimited access RD gave them. He wouldn’t have done that without seeing proof of funds ... you would think.
Why would you have to have proof of funds? You're assuming someone is going to buy us lockand stock.
I'm sure Roland would offer a favourable rate of interest should they want to take control now and pay later.
Why would you even hand over control of the playing assets without some evidence of the buyers’ ability to trade? Using Grapevine’s idea of Staprix as a bank, that makes no sense. Even in the financial crisis, banks had lent against assets, even if the counterparty was a poor risk.
Assets yes. A budget away from those assets to actually run a football club with a degree of success. No
Either way that party has to have assets, which takes us back to RD being persuaded they were credible. Unless, of course, he just took the word of someone he trusted.
Remember. Roland is a busy man. Without his trusted Daisy guiding him god alone knows how involved he is or was.
When you wan to buy a house costing £200k the estate agent/seller often want to see an "agreement in principle" from a mortgage lender to assure them that you are good to purchase the property.
I'm sure if you're looking to buy something for £20m the seller will want something a bit more substantial than just your word.

Especially as with DD there is a lot of work to be done by club staff preparing documents, providing figures and forecasts etc.

So, we know 100% DD has been done for a shall company but don’t know if RD bothered to check who they were.... was it done for CARD Ltd or ROT Ltd and was the protest fund used to pay Mischin de Reya?
Has anyone looked on the companies House website recently? I have but ain't got a clue what I'm looking at, although I can see KM resignation on 01/01/2018
If it was red bull it would be all over the news like when they were looking at West Ham and I think Leeds? Also highly doubt they would pay what RD wants
and i doubted anyone would pay £100 million for two full backs or £75 million for a cntre half or £140 million for a so so forward -------football and financial logic nahhhhh dont exist

FFS What is it with Charlton Life??? Can nobody spell?? It's Alex McLeish...... NOT McGleish or McCleish
Just like half our own players names get mispronounced. Does my head in!!
Well when our own commentary team on Valley Pass can't even pronounce players names correctly, or tell the difference between Paul Williams and Peter Garland, what hope is there?

In any case I understood from VOTV that Duchatelet had hired the very expensive London lawyers Mishcon de Reya https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mishcon_de_Reya
That would cost him a lot of money
It's MY IB !!!
And at the moment, there's no S !

Memories of one of the funniest moments in the anti regime fight.
Wonder if he used to support Spurs?
