Yes, great effort by all who did something by way of protest but let’s not forget lee bowyer in all this - if he hadn’t got us promoted I think we would still be stuck with rd - he needs our support more than ever now to help get us out of this injury induced rut
Serious amount of work gone into this, scarf, train picture, official site on the monitor and are they protest water bottles? It’s like a spot the difference.
I’m guessing the boss isn’t back from Christmas break until Monday and it’s a quiet day in the office.

Reading through this thread and Into The Valley has come on 6music. This as well as the fact that I can see the valley from my window has got me welling up. Great day.
From Leeds ? Specsavers won't be seeing you anytime soon
Out of interest.....what are the registered owners of other football clubs owned by Dubai based ownership?
Don’t think we are owned by Dubai. If I remember (and I do because I just checked with google) there are several (google says 7) states in the united Arab Emirates and Dubai is the main city of one (not ours) and Abu Dhabi is the second largest capital of the second state.

That is the aim of the new owners and Lee Bowyer and coaches for this season judging by Matt Southall's statement. Building the infrastructure and rewarding staff on and off the pitch. Bowyer won't be a problem to sign up but I wonder if Taylor has set his heart on a move up to Rangers. That would appeal to Lyle to be a big fish in a small pond, (Scottish prem) plus European football. I hope ESI at least offer a decent Championship wage to try to keep him because losing one Talisman striker weeks after a takeover is poor, (Yann)to lose another would be yet another backward step. I accept that if he turns it down we should have more options now but every effort should be made to keep him.
We wanted @Stig to do a Bayeaux tapestry version of this thread to adorn the walls of the museum but it would rival that line thing they used to do on the Magpie studio during appeals.

Yeah and this. Unexpected appointment of Lee after Gobbo and on the cheap but what an unexpected benefit to the club all of Lee, Gallen, JJ and Marshall together in adversity have been.
Without then, we could have been in league 2 rather than where we are right now.
Great work and let’s keep the support for them, the club at current or even higher levels.

Yep - me too. Hope its not gone off as its been in the fridge for 2 years! All we need now is a win at Swansea tonight whilst I sip on the champagne and watch Valley Pass (I hope its on).
i like to thank myself during all this. yes some might say my saving of a certain Belgium beer for 5 years was mad. especially for someone like myself who is half an alcoholic. and yes when they said theres bits floating in it i still refused to open it. new years eve however i opened said beer. i had one sip and it was still as beautiful as i remember and i quickly got few the rest. Today i have opened the other bottle in celebration to the departing tosspot from our club and my god those bits never tasted so damn good.

Woke up to this morning to two great things...
1. The takeover news
2. A client gifted me my first ever shirt!
Agreed, good work from @SWEnglandAddick

Also was the club sold for £50m?.
HE Nimer’s red and white army
you heard it hear first 😂
I do not believe any of the new board are Abu Dhabi nationals?
Kind of blows the theory that this is solely Nimers personal wealth.
