We know @Swisdom has contacts within the club so don't doubt him.

I do doubt how reliable the ultimate source ie Murray is.

I don't think people are lying or trying to deliberately spread misinformation, there is no great conspiracy, but a deal can be very close and still not happen.

Until it's 100% done it's 0% done.

Am I willing it to happen ASAP so we can get back to being something like a proper club again? You bet I am but I'm not going to get excited until I see the "club sold" headline in the OS.

Yep , I heard similar info re takeover and when I got unnamed source to follow back it came from Murray , so similar rehashed as what was said at Centenary Dinner .

but muzza is more convinced than before but as you say means nothing until it’s done it’s not done .

The "closer than ever" is coming from Murray.

I don't think anybody can deny there isn't interest. We have evidence of that, but it would be good to get a similar message from somebody more trustworthy than Murray.
