Do I believe RD and LVT are making up buyers, no I don't.
Do I think it's a bit fishy that the only buyers have credible lines of communication to this forum, yes I do.
We have the aussies that leak through @JamesSeed, the "bexley man" group that happily leak through @PragueAddick and the Dalman group that leak through London and Cardiff's biggest local papers.
No way does RD put this together to put us off the scent. But I don't buy there is no one else involved. Again, my money is it happing with out the buyer being know 48 hours before it's on the official site.
Makes clear below that tweet that they (Whitehand, Chappell, Sumners) are not discussing the loans with anyone and have only read the claim that they are on here.
ok - just strengthens my view that the aussies are a fabrication to drum up competition and / or perpetuate the illusion that rd is looking to sell - if bowyer isn't given whats needed in the next 2 weeks and it all turns to shit once the season starts, he either has to sell or we have to up the pressure on him in belgium somehow - its clear there are willing and capable alternatives out there and his days of using us as some sort of experiment have to come to an end - i'm not sitting through a season of shit for his benefit
I’m afraid I have to admit to being a part of that fabrication. I made up all the nonsense about knowing Gerard, and the beer meeting, and the phone calls etc., because, well basically I haven’t got any friends, and I hoped a promote or two might make me more popular (Henry knows what I’m talking about).
Will feel better now I’ve got it off my chest though!

Gerard Murphy must have had a very stressful year - every time the phone rings he must wonder whether he needs to up sticks and move to the other side of the world

I respect you for that. But it's also time to admit you're no relation of Jimmy Seed. You're Les Reed's son.
been told that muir is now talking to the ex directors - nla may be able to verify that and if he does i'll believe it - if he doesn't, i'll treat it as another load of old tosh - why on earth didn't he start talking to them a year ago??? absolute nonsense
Who told you?
lets just say it came from the club
No, let's just say who.
@Chizz we’ve been here before with you trying to dig out @DOUCHER. Bit of a personal vendetta?? I don’t see you demanding others to declare their sources. Becoming a bit boring mate

I don't find it boring at all. Keep going, Chizz.
Except Doucher up until now, has been the most accurate with denying rumours, so why should he be pumping out his source... All those continuosly wrong should be.
I think Dalman, Mr. Bexley, Gerard Murphy, Andrew Muir and Fawaz should get together for a super consortium bid of sorts. A bit like the Power Rangers.
They can morph together (GM can be the pink ranger) to stop the evil Lord Roland in his tracks.

I honestly don’t really think it’s happening - the optimum time for Roland to sell is before the season starts, the optimum time for a buyer to buy (if they are even marginally ambitious) is before the season starts.
As the season starts in five days and it looks like we are nowhere in terms of this getting done then I conclude that there isn’t currently any serious interest.
I think there’s serious interest and has been for a while from various potential owners.
The issue is Roland hasn’t seriously been interested in selling for a deal any potential owner can agree with.

That works both ways, maybe the right owner hasn't turned up yet..?

He’s been trying to sell for over two years. The Aussies were first linked with us in April 2017.
If buyers keeps walking away or just continue to wait doesn’t that tell you the seller is the problem?
He obviously isn't desperate to sell, he wants to sell but only when he and his over inflated ego are satisfied by the deal. He and his henchpersons spread lies to whoever allows them to.

Trouble is RD has already morphed into Davros and your new syndicate hasn't got a cosmic screwdriver between them.

That's what he's led everybody to believe...The type of buyer that wants a real go at getting to the PL will need serious money, and not just at the initial 'buying the Club' stage.

I think you're right that, if anyone is continuously being given wrong information, it would be helpful to know who it is that's giving them that information. Although, to be fair, I am not sure anyone is continuously wrong.
But the reason for asking who at the club has given Doucher the information that Andrew Muir is in discussion with ex-directors is that it is both significant and very relevant. It hints (actually much more than "hints") that progress is being made at the highest level between a named buyer and the small group of people that seem to have been an obstacle.
But, even more importantly, the information has come directly from the club. Which means that, if true, the club has an oversight on on-going discussions between these third parties. It tell us that (a) there is a serious buyer, (b) that buyer is engaged in a costly exercise that overcomes (what might be) the last hurdle (c) who the buyer is and that (d) the club is being kept informed of progress about discussion with people to whom the club owes a considerable amount of money. If this information is true, it's very relevant and demonstrates significant progress. So the provenance is relevant: we can expect to hear more from that source and we know the extent to which we can trust him/her/them.
However, in the few hours since the rumour was placed on here, it has been denied by one of the parties (i.e. Bob Whitehand). Of course, it's entirely possible that Whitehand is not being truthful. Although there is no reason at all to believe that he has any reason not to tell the truth about this. Which means that the information told to Doucher was not true. And people might surmise that it's untrue for any number of reasons, e.g. that it's just malicious (if so, why?) or that it's a fishing exercise to flush out whether, in fact, the ex-directors are, indeed, being spoken to by a potential buyer. People might jump to those conclusions; but those leaps might be mitigated if we knew who it was at the club that gave out the information. Was it a disgruntled current employee? Someone more senior? Someone acting beyond their brief? And, as above, if we know who it is, we can make assumptions as to how well to trust them in future.
We haven't heard from Andrew Muir, as far as I am aware, about this information, but I would guess that, if it were true, then @JamesSeed might now, or soon, be in a position to confirm it. We have heard from Bob Whitehand, who has denied it. So it *appears* as if there is someone at the club not telling the truth. I think that's important. And I think we deserve to know who.
As it is, thanks to Doucher, we now have some more important questions for the Fans Forum to put to LdT at the next meeting.
Just speculating but we have just under 4 weeks until the 8th August when the window closes.
Don't think anyone who’s serious would buy us with little or no time to complete a fair amount of business depending on what the teams looking like by then, so 2 weeks (aargh!) is probably an acceptable amount of time before the guy from # flies in and for others to indulge in brinkmanship.. sooner would be better though.
As above for me any sale would need to complete this week to allow for any business to be completed before the window, if not then it’s December, and so on...

So you’re saying all these buyers that have been interested have no idea how much it takes to fund a Championship club?
Somehow they’ve all missed the fact that the majority of Championship clubs lose tens of millions every season?

Big hint that Israeli buyers are close to clinching a deal.

Roland & Dowie, what a combo from hell that is!
