  • GM’s family is still in Oz. He doesn’t get to see them much to be fair.
    What’s a twunk?

Actually should have said ‘not allowed to comment on anything without agreement from both sides’.

Sitting in departure lounge. My three hour flight delay has become 50 mins.
  • I just wanted to confirm that I am not, repeat NOT, joking.
  • 'Aussies temporarily in Oz'. Marvellous!

Let the bloke see his family ffs.

My 'marvellous' didn't mean that, Jimmy. I just thought it looked funny. Like, where else would I expect to find Aussies?

Great band! 2nd album was a bit too commercial for my liking though!
  • Looking more and more like the Aussies are just hanging around. There's no urgency to get this over the line. I think they are waiting for the price to drop and hope they are at the front of the que when it does.
Roland doesn't want them to bugger off as he'll need them in a bidding war should someone else come along.
The two groups appear to be sleep walking along waiting for something to give.

    Unique.

At this point, in terms of waiting around, why not? Now the transfer window is closed it's not like they can affect anything much before January. The ideal for them is likely that by December we're leaning towards the wrong end of the table and Roland is looking at a £5m hole in his finances and the chance that we could be a L2 team which would cost him even more to support. It means that we are going to have a miserable few months but the Aussies might have a little more negotiating power the longer it drags on.

Which if true, they are still looking to buy whilst their possible future purchase goes further down the shitter.

    Baffling.

we've got tyre kickers trying to buy off of a messer! Forget about any deal. Mike Ashley brought Debenhams for £90 million in 2 days.

    Bought.

And do we really want a Mike Ashley type of owner?

I’d take him over what we’ve got.
He’s by no means a perfect owner but when Newcastle have gone down he’s made sure the funds are there to go straight back up
He'd be certifiable not to have done.
To be fair, being a yo-yo club isn’t a bad thing.
Shit when you get relegated but glorious when promoted!
Newcastle have the yo-yo off to a tee
Apart from Leicester in recent times, the premiership is pointless to be part of! Dull dull dull. Same old teams winning everything
  • it just so happens that i have a nifty software that has "accidentally" managed to pull both AM and GM's contact info. anyone want to ping them an email? oh and GM's contact numbers which i didn't realise it could do

Loads of people have them, he gets loads of emails already.
Contact numbers being given out is a bit creepy? Would you like it if I put your numbers in the public domain?

Perhaps GM back from Oz. The rumour about the takeover after the Norwich game could be right

They probably thought CARD had gone away so had to think of some delaying tactic

Edit: It's worked before and may work again
  • Has this latest rumour been confirmed?

I'm sure someone ITK would confirm whether the ex-directors have been approached/paid off if the takeover using sight.
