Last night was told that there was yet another rumour being circulated that the Aussies had ‘formally pulled out’.
Texted my contact and received a reply confirming that they haven’t.
Yet again, I believed a rumour for 10 nerve wracking minutes. Where are they coming from? Getting on my nerves!
Well if they haven't pulled out what's holding things up now. If a price has been agreed and new investors found surely the legal teams from both sides could sort something out. I'm thinking it's not happening.

Can’t say I blame you.
But what is happening, I suspect, is some stuff that is only being sorted because the Aussies have spent so much already that they don’t want to pull out at the final (very challenging) hurdle. If they did, I’m not sure anyone else is going to get involved by the sounds of it.
Charlton Athletic Community Trust (CACT) have today announced the continuation of their highly-successful partnership with ITRM, a privately owned, award-winning, accredited IT Managed Service Provider based in Sidcup.

That is my major concern. If the Aussies pull out we will be stuck with Roland for at least another season. I hope your contact is correct and something happens soon. But I must admit I'm beginning to think the whole thing will collapse.

Well if we are going to talk in metaphors, they may not have pulled out but they certainly haven't cum yet. Further updates should be posted on the erectile dysfunction thread please
I am interested in taking over the club, I have not pulled out, it is just that I can't meet Roland's high and unrealistic and unreasonable asking price.

@Addickted has still a bid on the table and if I remember correctly involved some confectionery.

For the last 6 weeks they’ve been sitting in a locked room staring at each other. First one to blink, loses. Roland’s sweating as it’s costing him money. Andrew’s playing it cool ... #TeamWIOTOS

I think it's more about who's sitting there watching them.
Wasn’t Airman suggesting that the middle of July was “the deadline” ? I suspect we have another ten days before we here anything positive or otherwise.

There has been a rumour going around that an Australian consortium is interested in buying CAFC but there has been little substance to support the rumour: unless that is, a strange looking man was seen wearing a red scarf at some random game last season (sighs....such a long time ago)
