Just my luck, got a family wedding, totaly gutted, i am now praying that Sky will look at our game and decide to show it as the opening game on a Friday night or Sunday, or we away Cardiff, think i can suffer missing that one,
Cheers mate, you are cheering me up more and more thinking about the games that i could miss, Col U away, Norwich away,Palace away, QPR Away, head falls into hands,
That's what I thought...! With everyone talking like this I was getting all excited about being able to plan holidays next year, then I remembered they don't have a clue who is even in that league yet!
You should never have holidays or even get married during football season, i had to pay an extra, £500 in the place i got married just because it was in July. Never get maarried or go on holiday between August adn May. Only agreed it to it once, last year agreed to go on famlily holiday to Cyprus, thne we drew Boro, it was agreed i would fly back from cyprus if we got to the final, failing that the holiday was off.
I can't wait that long...Ggggrrrrr. I have managed to persuade my mates we really do need to go to Sardinia in July, so I don't miss any games. Too many weddings this year though, I hope I am lucky with there not being home games then!
Dont get married on a Saturday. Statistics show that the best day for marriage is a Wednesday. Less end in divorce. Apart for mine of course....... lol.
Always encourage the good lady to be that it makes more financial sense to get married outside the school holidays, the honeymoon wont be as expensive, therefor this will enable her to spend more moneyon her flowers or dress in which we have saved on the honeymoon by not going in August...........happy days......everyones a winner, she gets to spend more, we dont miss no fixtures,
I'm single and not even thinking about marriage yet, but I already know I am getting married in June or July, and not in a year ending with an even number in case there is World Cup or Euros on...July 2011 should do it...!
Meeting your mate in the Oak b4 or after a game is hard enough, so to meet your future hubby, jesus that must be a marriage made in SE7, i always try and avoide the good lady in a pub, not meet her

I even managed to time the births of my two little 'uns around the footie season. Was 5 days off being due with my first when we played Liverpool in the last game of the 00/01 season at the Valley (stood the whole game in F block - it was either that or miss the action!); My son arrived in time for me to be discharged and have a few days at home before seeing Arsenal (03/04). Anything's possible with some good planning!

Or even better, do what we did and get married at beginning of June, then go to the World Cup (or Euros) for your honeymoon.
