Hang on a minute. I thought we had a 'good honest bunch of players who wanted to fight for the shirt'. That's what you told us less than 3 weeks ago. A few losses and you've changed your tune Karl.
It's obvious he's shitting it about getting the sack given the owners previous record and he is trying to blame anyone he can. He's done the ref, he's done the players it'll be the fans next.

As I said a few weeks ago:
"I bet he's a right narky F*****r when things aren't going his way"
We do like an outburst at Charlton these days. The most unprofessional club in the land. Better get another PR muppet through the door now Karl has to be gagged.
Wasn't it just a week ago he was praising them as honest and hard working. Total bullshit from him and all the management. Richard Murry ffs stand up and be counted to these morons!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Murray is number one apologist for them.
He has the power to derail these bastards. That he chooses not to, tells you all you need to know about the man and where his priorities lie.
Gutless name names if your going to say it otherwise just looks like blaming everyone but you!
Agree but sure but all this should be sorted out behind closed doors. Washing the dirty linen in public like this (and in a vague fashion) is not going to help Charlton avoid relegation.
True, but the dirty linen van provides a convenient means of escape
awful interview & totally turned me off him. None of the starting 11 have anything to do with the mess we are in & most weren't even here last season. We need stability & cant keep on changing managers but surely he has to go after that. players wont have any respect for him now - he would have been better off keeping it in house.
not only has he lost the dressing room he's now lost the fans as well.
Sounds to me that some of the players, probably the more senior ones, have seen through his bullshit, are fed up with him trying to swerve the responsibility after every poor result and are either ignoring him or openly taking the piss. His credibility in the dressing room is shot to pieces. Right from the off, particularly the Peterborough game, he has been tactically inept. It doesn't take long for a group of players to decide a manager ain't up to it. There's no way back for him after the latest comments, the players won't have that. Even Ranieri & Mouriniho couldn't survive dressing room mutinies and they are top managers.
Congo Chris is also part of this set up and may well get the same treatment from these players, if they think he is also a fraud. So it could be futile putting him in. Will the dopey owners recognise that? of course they won't and panic will set it, if we drop into the bottom four.
To many cooks!!! Robinson, Barker , O'laughlin who else? ?
I watched Robinson's long press conference last week. Not for the first time he said he doesn't duck questions and is honest. OK. So he now says 'I only wish I could be honest'. He is telling us he has to withhold stuff, which could mean any bloody thing, but it is a good out isn't it? If only we knew then we would understand, but it is a secret at least for now anyway. Until when then? Never? 'I only wish I could be honest'. ITK, taps side of nose.
I fully expect him to be sacked by morning, You cant have an outburst like that. What players are going to play for him now till the end of the season after the shit he just spouted. We are royally screwed.
I agree. He knows he is nearly gone so is blaming the players more. As for dodgy Tex, he may not be the best but he was committed enough to score a couple of goals last week. Waffle.
Karl Robinson, 29 November, CAFC OS: "The most important thing for me is that players, before they put that shirt on, will dedicate their next 90 minutes to it."
Karl Robinson, 4 February, CAFC OS: "I think the players showed what it took to wear the Charlton shirt. OK, at certain times the quality wasn’t always there, but certainly the hunger was there for all to see."
Karl Robinson, 28 February, CAFC OS: "Too many people have been getting away with things for too long and some of the players don’t deserve the Charlton Athletic shirt."
I, personally, have not been to a Charlton game since October 2015 (Christ I'm almost as bad as Roland)
So I cannot comment on football matters. It's hard for me to judge and put 2 and 2 together from what happens on the pitch to what this bloke says.
Listening to his interview, my thoughts;
KR has already lost the dressing room. His professional ego is all over the shop. He is thin skinned and cannot see the light of day. A very stupid emotional "it's all about me" presser. Show your true emotions in the dressing room, not to the media. It stinks of desperation.
Unless something really really shocking happened. Referring to the comment he made about "I've never seen that at a football club before". What? A player rolled a joint in front of you? What?
I'm all for giving new managers a chance, as in coaches that are young and new to the profession. Why? Because CP was that man once and he got us out of league one and when he hadn't fully managed another club before.
KR has only managed a shit depressing football team before coming over to us. This is now rather obvious and stands out.
Apart of me feels sorry for him. I feel sorry for him because he doesn't know what he's doing and doesn't know how to handle the situation he finds himself in now.
He is just trying to save his own name and reputation by pretending it's a circus.
We know it's a circus. You won't admit that it all stems from the ownership though because rightly or wrongly, you want to keep your job.
The players don't respect him (In the way I believe they should) and are now probably going toe to toe with him after that. He's too matey and on their level. I said that when he was only one or two games in.
He's a complete muppet.
He did acknowledge the fans at least and recognize the effort made by them and that it was no where near met with a good enough performance.
The reason why we are where we are because we have absolutely no stability, common sense, loyalty and trust all throughout the club. Not the amount that is required.
Wake up and smell the bacon man! Take away the managers, take away the senior players, the new players and everyone else you excused in that interview and there's only one person left at the football club, sitting right at the heart whose been involved in it all... Now who do we think this rotten core is, and when is she going to go?
Should've been something like "Look, the lads have let themselves down again tonight, they are committed in training but not carrying the decision making on to the pitch. That's something we all have to work on and we all know our responsibilities"

Robinson would be well advised to say he regrets some of the things he said in the heat of the moment disappointed after the match. He would then be well advised to shut up and ensure we win this relegation battle. Keep things behind closed doors and tackle the problems by working hard. Karl needs to count the bodies left and play his hand as well as he can. If necessary play ten behind the ball for the rest of the season and hope to nick the odd result. This is the most positive post on this thread so far.
He is as good as gone, lost the players, lost the fans, we are heading towards the fourth tier for the first time in our history and the only reason he is even here(just like Slade) was in hope it might fool the media & fans that things had changed.
Might as well let the next network reject have their turn in the dugout as they can't do any worse while we wait for our Belgian dictator to finally leave.
Yes he's lost it now. how can expect them players to give him anything now. After slagging them off All the other players still injured again not big enough squad there's no one to being in but kids.we are down.he says who are going to want these players next season they want be bothered because the clowns have already give them the contracts.they don't have to go anywhere. Absolute shambles off a club
Mavidi out for season. Caskey 4 weeks. Page hardly played and not very good. Da Silva pointless. Byrne not done much. Watt back and the in house fighting starts. This is what happens when you sign kids who are not ready to play this many games. Or average players who are not fully fit. But they have learned from this mistakes zzzz

I have never disliked a Charlton manager before like I dislike this twat, the drivle that comes out his mouth, his facial expressions, his silly nervous grin, fiddling with his hair.

This is not the first time he's mentioned rebuilding like Chris Powell did after are a poor previous half season getting to know the players etc. But the first time he's named SCP bet that goes down well with RD & KM
