Charlton were a collection of individuals not a team as Bury were. Bury pressed, were organised & all knew the game plan & what they needed to do. The team is going backwards.
From interview - Karl why didn't team play as a unit ? Overly optimistic reading of game about how they played. Better interview overall than normal. Think he Knows that the team is in trouble.
Nice story Sue with the mascot & Tony Watt
Enjoyable show, makes defeat & goings on more bearable.
Sue - this is a tinpot league and if we had just spent a small amount of the Lookman money then we would be near the top 6.
Roland isn't interested in the football team doing well.
Well balanced discussion. Sue's bit on players being children needing routine is priceless. Quoted too much money for players allegedly in Jan window. Who's doing the negotiating or is it the case of Duchatelet not paying the going rate ? Where is all the money going ? It's not clear as the debt still seems to be £50million.
Great final point from Terry (does commentary on live games & interviews, Does show with Louis Mendez) about supporters needing to know that Charlton need to be building a team & not just producing young players for sale.
Show well worth a listen.
Join Louis Mendez, Terry Smith and Sue Gallop as they look back at the 1-0 home defeat against Bury. They hear exclusively from Addicks manager Karl Robinson following the loss, and read out your tweets and emails as we discuss what is next for The Addicks. They also talk about the nicer side of football following some amazing gestures towards friend of the show Alex Stedman this week.
