Did you really see him in the Radical Henry?

I was listening on the DLR this morning but had to stop it as was too noisy and not the right place to be listening to something like that.  Just after the Plumstead mention.

Ian Wright was on on Sunday. I would highly recommend you listen to this episode (and have your hanky nearby).

Desert Island discs is a really good radio programme

It is also what has helped the explosion in long format interview podcasts with its format

I pick and choose which ones I listen to as whilst I like learning about new people I struggle if they have shit choice in music or are not related to something I am aware of

Ian Wright is such an honest character he always goes down well on stuff like this and I've got this episode to listen to on my journey home

Ian Wright is one of my favorite characters in football. Sarf London lad and wears his heart on his sleeve.  Good episode of DID that was.

It's a great programme. I used to have a team at work spread over 8-9 countries. We had a quarterly news letter and, in order to elevate it away from pure work related items, every quarter we asked someone to nominate 3 pieces of music and the reason why and a luxury item they would want if marooned on a desert island. Was a good way of getting members of the team to reveal a bit more about themselves.

If you haven’t already seen it, this clip is worth a watch. It was played in teachers’ staff rooms around the country

Plumstead boy and actor Stephen Graham on Radio 4 now
I thought he was from Kirby?
Lived in Plumstead for a few years so I'm claiming him.

Always used to see him in the Radical Club
The Radical Club. Brings back memories. Used to go in there mid eighties with my wife and her Grandparents when they lived down Plumstead High Street. Was a dive back then I thought so surprised it's still going.
