Six Nations 2017

Couldn't see another thread?

Hogg has started like a house on fire, 2 tries in the opening 15 minutes.

So much for a lot of people tipping Ireland - England's title to lose in my opinion.

Ireland have battered them 2nd half, but looking dead on their feet. Going to be an interesting last 5 mins.

Enjoyed that. Scotland played the last so well. Maybe they'll be there or thereabouts at the end.
Ireland will be very disappointed at how much possession they had with no result.
    Swing low.......

15 wins on the trot .. that is an all time record for England RFU teams
  • Backed the three underdogs on the handicap so just need Italy to front up tomorrow for a nice payout

Nail on head. Looked much better when Itoje went in to the 2nd row .. Robshaw and Billy Vunipola are massive losses. Think Ford might be on borrowed time as well....can see Farrell moving to fly half, Daly going in the centre and Nowell starting next week. Probably Haskell starting at the expense of Launchbury as well which means Itoje back in the 2nd row - his best position by a country mile.

15 straight wins is superb achievement.

Title's still ours but can't play like that again.
  • Press have been banging on about the strength of the England 22 and today showed why. Replacements changed the game. Can't see a grand slam based on that performance though. Should be a very close championship

BUT .. we won't know 'the truth' until we play New Zealand
  • Winning when playing poorly is a good and hard habit

The French played with a lot more discipline than is usual for them. Hence we didn't get the normal ration of freebie three points through the silly penalties the French generally give away.

It's a good sign that we held firm both in the period after May's yellow and during other French pressure. The French are a decent side and we won.

We will be there or thereabouts at the end of this.
  • poor performance but always good to beat the French.

now hoping Italy can get a shock win.

Not sure much more of ITV coverage of Rugby. Surprised they haven't invited Clive Tyldsley and Glenn Hoddle to talk bollocks for 80 mins.
