Having at last found the courage and strength through the most unbearable pain and tremendous heartache, I am posting this as a tribute to my wonderful, incredible Son & fellow Charlton supporter, Liam Meadows, who totally & unexpectedly passed away in his sleep on Wednesday 11th January at the age of 29.

Liam was a Brother to Gavin & Abby, Husband to Sarah & Daddy to baby Louie. He was the sunshine of our lives and the apple of my eye.

Our hearts have been smashed into a million pieces and our love for him will never, ever die.

Rest In Peace Liam my darling son, your voice will still be heard in the Covered End Choir X

I was privileged to know Liam, albeit via his lovely Mum, and he was indeed a beautiful soul.

I cannot begin to imagine how Sam & her family are feeling at this moment in time & my heart goes out to her.

I was SO hoping for a win on Saturday for them both as Liam was due to attend this match although he no longer lived in the South.

His spirit will be in the Covered End for as long as it stands and he will be fondly remembered.
