Although i'd rather blackpool get promoted, i have a soft spot for yeovil as they were one of the first teams i ever saw play in the early 90s. I remember it was a freezing cold saturday down at Welling, who lost. But charlton did win by about 5 goals.
seen Charlton at Bloomfield Road before but Blackpool away means a weekend party and a banging monday morning hangover.
Yeovil away......didn't their manager say somethinglike Yeovil are the highest ranking village team in the land?
Never been there, so new ground - it's almost like a home match for me - only about 80 miles away.
I Have also been to both Bloomfield Road(Blackpool)And Huish park(Yeovil Town)Blackpool would suit supporters for an away game better as it's a seaside town,And a new ground to visit, bit like brighton, very GAY?(excusse the pun but true) You could also head to Preston(Church street)for some excellent night life if you can't find any accomadation in Blackpool,Yeovil, not much going on,and takes ages to get to,too many busy A-roads and tractors? The away end at huish park is terracing and uncovered but friendly and a good atmosphere, lets see who wins. As oggy red says we lost 2-1 at Blackpool, phil warman scored for us,was really raining and windy,i got soaked and it took ages to get home, when we played blackpool at home and it was 1-1 derek hales scored just before half time.
I will be in attendance next Sunday and will be watching intently. Friends with Blackpool fans who got me a ticket and cant wait to go to Wembley, obviously want Blackpool to win because of that but I do have a soft spot for Yeovil.
