When we don't sign anybody decent in the next transfer window and what will be the real reason.
I'll start it off with,;
1) great news Ricky Holmes will be coming back in the next few weeks so we now don't need to sign a winger. Real meaning Roland said no more funds you'll have to manage on the crocks you've got.
2) we had a number of players lined up, but just didn't have enough time to get them over the line. Really meaning KM's fucked off on holiday again so wasn't available to seal the deal.

By email of course
Second Spanners defeat in 3 weeks = need new players
January = Looky and Konsa go, to be replaced by some Belgians you have never heard of.
Next 2 defeats (Scunny & Bolton) = squad needs time to gel and new guys to get fit
Start of February = we play 6 teams around us and the target is 14 points
After draw against Fleetwood = this is the start of our big run
After defeat at AFCW = disappointed to let the fans down in another derby defeat
Then 2 wins and 2 draws from the remaining games = We are still on target, just X points off 6th place
Defeat at Northampton in March = KR sacked and replaced by Congo Chris.
He's even downloading the official Gibraltar league add on this year to make sure no one is missed.
Unfortunately none of them wanted to come to charlton and work under the serial meddlers Katrien and Roland.
I tried to represent to them that those days were in the past but unfortunately just before the transfer window Duchatelet managed to represent that Chris Powell was stupid and less good than Jose Riga, and the fans protesting against him activists blindly following disaffected ex-employees, on Belgian national tv.
Clearly the players read this and any attempts I had at building credibility evaporated immediately.
As did any chance of getting any new quality at a reasonable price or contract length.
Let's be honest, the deals for Johnson and Teixara have inflated the market here.
We are in the shit and only Duchatelet selling/Katrien moving on or a ridiculous waste of money, are going to get us out of this very deep hole.
If anyone has a spare seat in their car for a trip to Belgium, can you let me know?
Cheers
Karl.
