Phillips 5 Didn't have a lot to do but kicking poor Konsa 4 Clearly not a full back, didn't know what to do when he went forward. Fox 3 Out of sorts and lacking confidence. Teixiera 5 Lost his man for the first goal Bauer 5 A poor game by his standards Botaka 6 some good cross field passes. Can't understand why he was taken off. Crofts 4 Too many missed placed passes Ulvestad 4 no influence on the game at all Lookman 4 Take the money. Attitude not good enough when he makes a mistake. Magennis 5 Dominated by their centre backs. Should have squared to Ajose when he hit the post. Ajose 3 pointless
Phillips: 5 I make him fault for both goals (should be claiming 1st cross and should have been all over the striker for 2nd). Kicking is fine though - no use punting it down the middle to give it away - have any of you tried a pinpoint pass 70 yards to a players head? Konsa: 4 bad day but he needs them to help him improve Fox: 5 meh. Nowhere near as bad as some fans make out Teixeira: 5 rusty Bauer: 5 learning to play with tex again Botaka: 5 typical winger - frustrating Crofts: 3 possibly a record for misplaced passes Ina game. Lack of pace highlighted by their mobility in the middle. Has the turning arc of a small planet Ulvestad: 5 worst game for us. Hasn't kicked on like I had hoped he would Lookman: 4 looks like a player avoiding injury ahead of a multi million pound move. Magennis: 5.5 mom. Must be hard playing alongside the laziest player I've seen in years Ajose: 3 running out of ways to explain how I think we've been mugged. Starting to think he's a lookalike. Woeful. Lazy. Disinterested.
My real mom was Chicksen (7/10). Showed more desire and threat in his cameo than anyone else
Robinson 4 I'm prepared to give him a chance but we don't need the histrionics on the sideline. He's trying too hard to be everyone's mate, too hard to show the players aren't doing what he wants. WE KNOW. Stop playing to the crowd, shut your mouth and work on the players. A win against Millwall and you're excused this one - another abject defeat and you'all be in the same boat as the majority of your predecessors!
Wondering if KR is proving a point to say he needs a lot of players to play the way he wants! Fine by me - half the shit I saw today re out of their depth
Phillips 4 kicked it out of play numerous times causing the first half to be very stop start. We need the experience of Rudd at Millwall Konsa - 4 not a full back but with no Foley or Solly we had little other option Fox 3 Poor going forward. Just runs aimlessly until he gets tackles. Chicksen would offer more. Bauer 4 Tex 4 Botaka 6 Our only threat. Was just getting going in the 2nd half. Bad decision to sub him. Crofts 5 CM is our weakness but he was better than many today Ulvestad 4 barely noticed him Lookman 4 Off day Magennis 4 Off day Ajose 3 if we can get just £200k back for him in Jan then take it. Play lookman up front or call Watt back
So call a player back that was apparently homesick and did not want to be here. ...great
Phillips:6 should have come out and punched the ball like Pope ! Konsa:5 torrid time at right back. Fox 5: torrid time at Left back. Teixeira:4.5 more rusty than a bike left outside in a monsoon. Bauer:5 off day. Botaka: 5.5 show pony of a player but still would've kept him on. Crofts:5 Bang average Ulvestad:5 no impact today. Lookman:4.5 extra point for being double marked. had a mare. Magennis:6 carbon copy of the shot against Bradford. Ajose:3.5 the lowest mark i have ever given in my time on CL. Can we get a copy of the 24 goals he scored for Swindon Last season just to make sure it the same player !

I genuinely don't think calling back Watt is the craziest idea in the world. Here's 10 gd reasons for starters..
1. We're paying most of his wages anyway 2. He isn't always starting at Hearts so probably not loving football north of the border 3. KR wants a number 10 4. It's a much cheaper option than gambling £700k on another Ajose 5. We're desperate as our season is on the verge of collapse and we will not meet the goal of a top 6 finish with Josh as the only decent striker. 6. Watt proved at Blackburn, Cardiff & us that he can do it at a Championship level so there's no concern whether he has the quality for league 1 7. It's a £60 1 hour flight to fly him home after each game to spend a couple of days with his family. 8. It would go down well with the fans and the club could do with any 'fan wins' they can get at the moment 9. Hearts have no money to buy him in the summer so staying up there isn't going to enable a future deal 10. If the club want to sell him. Then starting (and hopefully scoring) for us will give them much more chance of getting a fee than sitting on the hearts bench.
He's contracted to us, likes the fans here and wouldn't refuse to play for us ...so it's down to the club whether he does again. It's an option we should definitely be looking at.
My first game of the season, shocked by the lack of quality
Phillips: 5 No chance with goals Konsa: 6 Rubbish first half, good down the right side, second Fox: 4 Poor throughout Teixeira: 5 expected a far more dominant performance Bauer: 5 Ditto Botaka: 5 Very good for ten minutes second half, might be good player in a good team Crofts: 5 Hardly noticed him chasing nippy, mobile, yellow shadows Ulvestad: 5 Same Lookman: 5 Trying to fill the Holmes role. Never hid, tried hard, but too much responsibility, needs to play higher up the pitch Magennis: 6 Couple of moments of quality including hitting the post. Ajose: 3 Might as well gone xmas shopping with his Mrs
So call a player back that was apparently homesick and did not want to be here. ...great

Phillips 6 - Not a lot he could have done about the goals Konsa 4 - Out of position and it showed Fox 4 - Poor Bauer 6 - Did OK Tex 6 - Ditto Botaka 5 Crofts 4.5 - Not good enough Ulvestad 5.5 - Started OK but faded badly Lookman 4 - lost count of how many times he gave the ball away. Magennis 5.5 - Like him a lot but this was not his best day. Ajose 3 (and that's being generous) - Awful all season and no better yesterday.
Phillips: 6 Nothing to do apart from kick it a few times (which is not his strong point). Konsa: 4.5 - Gave away the foul for the first goal and his sloppy pass inside set them away for the second. Only discovered what could be achieved by driving forward, far too late on. Fox: 4 Looked weak and short of confidence. Teixeira: 6.5 Won plenty of headers and made quite a few 1st half blocks. Got done one on one (he's not good at those) but was easily the most accomplished player. Bauer: 5.5 Steady but nothing more. Botaka: 5 A couple of shots and a couple of sprayed long passes but no threat on the wing. Infuriating player who looks to have little football brain. Crofts: 5 Tried but had too much ground to cover. Played too deep late on when we needed to be pushing them back. Ulvestad: 4 Didn't look right v MK and didn't look right yesterday. Lookman: 4 Got us into trouble several times. His worst game for Charlton. What is he? Striker? Winger? No.10? Nobody knows including the professionals. Magennis: 5.5 Kept going but needs to start taking some of the chances if he wants to play at a higher level. Probably his worst game for Charlton? Ajose: 3.5 Weak and dispirited. Did take up a couple of great positions for tap ins but wasn't found (no way he could react to Magennis hitting the post....ball went out towards the corner flag!) but generally looked lost.
Phillips: 5.5 I thought he could have come out for the first goal, but little blame on the 2nd. Konsa: 6 Settled into the full back well, even though it is not his best position Fox: 3 Dire, even by his standards this was terrible Teixeira: 6 Did OK Bauer: 5.5 Not at his best Botaka: 4.5 Had few options other than to try to beat his man, but covered off well; did hit the bar and try a few shots Crofts: 5 Easy to run past; often presses when others don't; too negative - and those are the good points! Ulvestad: 4 Awful game, contributed nothing Lookman: 3 Two bob, sulky, lazy, and head-turned; should have been taken off but de cloob can't afford to drop his perceived value Magennis: 6 Not at his best but always tries, and did hit the post Ajose: 2.5 We have been sold a pup; poor runs, and so frustrating that it seems we play one short when he starts
Phillips: 6 - did ok Konsa: 4 - gave away a cheap free kick for their first goal and not much went right for him. Doesn't look comfortable playing out of position Fox: 3 - a very poor game but the vindictive booing is inexcusable and deeply counter-productive. Teixeira: 5 - some good interceptions in the first half but his level seemed to dip as the game went on Bauer: 4 - very poor by his standards. His distribution - usually a strong point - was wayward Botaka: 4.5 - a few good moments but little end product. Robinson must be wondering how his abilities can best be harnessed for the benefit of the team, especially given our weakness in central midfield. He'll be off in January anyway for the African Cup of Nations Crofts: 3 - really poor. Gave the ball away with alarming regularity and Peterborough's midfielders found it easy to turn on the gas and simply run past him with the ball Ulvestad: 3 - weak and generally anonymous Lookman: 3 - the worst game I've seen him play and his head dropped, along with the rest of the team's. I hope the three or four online articles a day on Everton's interest aren't destabilising the lad. We need to cut him a bit of slack, given both his age and the the fact that, without Holmes, he's all we've got creatively Magennis: 4 - no meaningful service but a real off-day Ajose: 3 - pretty hopeless. Zero physical ability and brushed off the ball far too easily. I fear we've bought a dud

Konsa: 5.5 Tried. Gave away the foul for the first goal so loses half a point. Better in the middle.
