Nice ground but a bit of a health and safety hazard when it rains with the floor being very slippery. And what the heck was that garbage the teams walk out too? Felt like being at a rock concert. Without a band and rocking atmosphere. The game? Well we were undone by a bad mistake by Aribo and 2 moments of class from Reeves. Chicksens goal got us level with a daisy cutter and was decent attacking down the left putting plenty of crosses in. We battled well but with 7 of the first team out it we were going to struggle against anyone. Ajose could have wrapped it up in the last minute setting himself up with just the keeper to beat but was denied by an outstretched arm. Not that bothered going out of the FA cup as whoever went through is probably going to get turned over by a decent Brighton side.
hang on for 90 mins then melt in the 1st period of et, oh well just 7 days till we can lose our bottle again, kr needs a win saturday desperately i think, call me negative but a draw at bradford is hardly setting the world on fire.
A draw away to Bradford with an injury hit squad who are unbeaten at home!!! I agree, terrible result #sarcasm
Think we may of just been the better team in 90 minutes back they looked more dangerous.AJose should of won it for us at the end.
Still much better football being played and you can really see a change and what Robinson is trying to do.
Aribo made a mistake for the first goal giving the ball away but felt he looked a good prospect, busy with loads of energy and drive in midfield, think we might see more of him.
Jacko had a good game I felt playing very deep holding almost a centre back at times and felt we missed him when he was subbed and lost that calmness he bought.

it isnt just bradford though is it, everyone was on here after the game going on how great he was so far, and on paper we have one of the best sqauds in the league
so far weve
drawn 0-0 and then lost 3-1 to mk dons and drawn to bradford, as often the case on here youve picked on one part of my comment to have a dig, lose to millwall and peterboro and he wont be so special will he, and before i get accused of not supporting the team, i love charlton till the day i die, but ive said it from the start i dont the kr is the superior manager many on here think of him as, if we dont get playoffs end of the season thats a failure as that was our minimum aim start of the season.
Read the players scores first and thought it odd people had rated Konsa and Tex so highly after letting 3 in to MK Dons. Then read this and saw two went in after Johnson entered the fray!
I can't believe that there are people writing Robinson off already after a few games. Jesus Christ it's embarrassing, give the man a chance before you string him up.
So we are going to be stringing him up? If so, why wait?
Im not slagging off karl i think he wil get it right but we should have won these games with ease He should have known all his old squad players weaknesses and the way they set out and been able to exploit them because mk were basically not very good!
KR's quote about emerging talent saving the need for transfer spending, proves that KR is either a buffoon or a scumbag. Either is fine in the eyes of the regime. Both justify rancour, opprobrium and hostility from we addicted. Each new missive from SE7 replenishes my reserves of all 3. I am still yet to hear a cogent argument for accepting the manager/head coach/whatever post at Charlton under the current regime. Nothing KR has said yet is making it any clearer, certainly not this guff about youngsters in the replay. The whys and wherefores of selection and the outcome of tonight's match are utterly irrelevant. Indeed the outcome of league matches under this regime is only relevant insofar as Charlton hopefully avoid further relegation. Descending to the 4th division would extinguish for good, the already vague flicker of hope for a sustainable future for Charlton Athletic FC. Appy xmas one & all, keep smilin'.
Game surrendered by defensive howlers and centre half is supposedly where the club's playing riches are to be found (is there an emoji for violent puking?) £8mil for Lookman? Such trifle as remains after Ademola and his agent are paid up will not be made available to KR to strengthen his tissue thin squad. Add mixed results through to the end of January should just about see Robinson into Roly's ejector seat and the next regime numpty/toady onto the cast list in this evermore sick making pantomime. Whether the next clown/charlatan into the firing line will have any chance of arresting the rate of decline seems doubtful in the extreme. Frankly I've got more chance of winning the main and €uro lotteries in the same week.
Goals here... Love Roger Johnson's gut busting effort for their third goal...
Grrrrrrrr that makes me more angry what Johnson and I think Foley have done!! They just gave up !!! Gave up! That's part of my anger in football these days! Players get paid thousands of pounds a week to play football it's a dream job and you see them do that!! Foley apparently played ok but Johnson f**k off and don't come back!!! Anyway Charlton players of old used to battle to the final second, that defending is disgusting ! Sort it out Robbo! It needs doing

It's not just him, Foley also stops running at the key moment (here) - very odd
Do you think they thought Phillips was going to come flying out and tackle the guy with the ball?
Surely you continue to close the attacker down until the threat has gone ? If the keeper comes and deals with it then brilliant, if not then it's your responsibility.
I was never brought up into the myth that Robinson “played attractive football” at MK Dons, and is therefore good for us. We shared a dreary 0-0 draw at The Valley last season – and they ended up even lower than us, dumped to Fleetwood and Port Vale.
Robinson is 36 years old and has had one single managerial job, under an unusually patient and forgiving owner. When he was appointed, I asked my friend and neighbour in the Covered End – Bill is almost twice Robinson's age and has watched every home game since 1959 – “What is this special and magical ingredient that our new manager has, that eludes you?” Or me. Or many others on this forum.
Robinson is inexperienced – star-struck by south-east London – cheap to hire, and easy to push around. You'll recall that when he got the call from Duchatelet, he was on a self-motivated, fact-finding tour of Europe: eager to learn from academies at Ajax and Barcelona. That's utterly admirable. Yet, Duchatelet won him over in a hotel room in Paris, Robinson trilling to the press the next day: “I like him. He has invited me to Ujpest, to Alcorcon...”
If Robinson had the knowledge and experience demanded of us at The Valley, he might have invited Duchatelet to join him on his tour – to learn and listen from clubs who hire good coaches and talented players, teams who play well and win.
Fifteen minutes into Robinson's debut, Konsa is knocked out cold - and our players troop over to the touchline, asking for water like knackered horses in a B-movie Western. And Robinson rushes up and embraces Magennis, kissing him, encouraging words in the ear.
This is absurd. Magennis has got more power and toughness in his boots – more intelligence and experience in his head, from playing for clubs and for his country – than his own manager, aged 36, failed at Rhyl and Congleton Town, goosing him on a first date.
The first half against MK Dons at The Valley was stunningly bad. We didn't even cross the half-way line. At last, in the second 45, we got forward – yet our ball to winger running in oceans of space is just slightly behind, so he has to check and control. In that split second, three defenders ambush him: dispossessed.
Botaka is a lovely idea: flamboyant, surprising, dangerous – just like Lookman and Harriott. The problem with all three of them is this: They do a double step-over, run forward – and pass to the opposition. Who surge through our non-existent midfield, and score.
Our men are puffing back: MK Dons sliced through our midfield last night – and the central defence, given up – and shot accurately past Phillips. Quick, sharp, and true. Ajose was free and missed yet again. Any new manager may be wondering about his first three games: one goal, no wins.
It's not “confidence” that our players need. It's ability.

have i missed something?

The progress made under you continues.
Asian betting syndicates bet on all kinds of things, don't they?
And I think of myself as being an anti- conspiracy theorist. What has this regime done to me?
This regime keep finding new ways of taking this club backwards. Sell us Duchatelet to someone who gives a shit.
