@Alwaysneil why LOL at my last post? Genuinely interested as is there stuff you've seen/ heard/ he said to you whilst there that makes my theory complete hopeful pie in the sky?
I think his view (of 'the fans' and CARD) must be coloured in some way by his experience with the Standard fans. Their most aggressive moves were carried out by the Ultras, but as I learnt the other week, that is an organisation with 4,000 members and they put 5,000 on the streets to protest one time. So not exactly a fringe group. And the Socios, while condemning the more extreme behaviour, were pretty resolutely anti-RD too. Jacques Seron just calls him "The Rat".
He also told our Belgian journo friend, before he sold Standard, that he was not going to talk to fans any more. Anywhere. He doesn't seem to accept that there will be a spectrum of opinions, just, in his view, two polar opposites.

There is a simple way for RD / the club to find out the true feelings of a wide spectrum of fans: just do a survey to their own database. Why not, Tom?

Nice work, indeed - especially running the old scroat to ground.
Interesting how Roland distinguishes between CARD and (as he puts it) "real fans". Why on earth does he think that those involved are devoting such a huge amount of time and energy to this cause ?
He genuinely thinks that it's just card that want him gone. Short memory, only last season we had thousands outside the west stand protesting. Delusional.

Look at Rodders ready to get all lemon!
Ha ha no it was a genuine question as I thought he may have picked up some info on the Belgium trip that put paid to my theory that RD is in the dark on the true extent of feeling. Days of getting hot under the collar on the internet are behind me ;-)

No wonder they are Chris Powell's favourite band!
Hope he heard the megaphone at the match - he would have choked on his waffles.

The video shows the cards being posted so what was in the brown envelope that was given to him?
