Anyone know if tickets are on sale on the door? Thanks0

Anybody know what is it like going by bus from Southend Central to Roots Hall and back again? Presumably it's a Sunday timetable service or something.0
-
What's everyone thinking by train? Is it out of Fenchurch Street?0
-
Personally I wouldn't get the bus. It's a very easy walk - just go to the top of the High Street, take the little passageway next to The Odeon and then it's just half a mile up Victoria Avenue. If you're going by bus you need to cross the High Street to find the bus stops that are all out the other side. The 7, 8 and 29s all go down that way, not convinced the service will be that good though.0 -
Sod it I'll drive.0

Welcome to Essex, where the buses are shit and everyone drives.0
-
What's the allocation? Do people think it'll sell out?0
-
No chance the away end holds well over 2000
Looks like it will end up around 1200 which is disappointing but not unexpected for 1pm on nye0 - Sponsored links:

No trains from Liverpool Street?0

Trains from Billericay to Prittlewell running okay. Trains from Stratford need to get a bus to Billericay or go to Southend Central.wickford said:No trains from Liverpool Street?

Yesterday two lads who went to my son's school were killed in a car accident - one was a friend of my boy and used to have kickabouts together down the local rec. As these kids were just seventeen, there will be a minute's applause on the 17th minute of Saturday's match. I'm sure it would be appreciated if any Charlton fans join in.
Given that the accident was during a police chase though, some may not wish to, but at least you'll know what's going on.

what can one say about this type of tragic incident ? .. should the police not chase 'suspect' cars ?, should other means be used in an attempt to stop vehicles rather than just pursuit ? .. whateverStig said:Yesterday two lads who went to my son's school were killed in a car accident - one was a friend of my boy and used to have kickabouts together down the local rec. sympathies to your son for the loss of his friend .. and especially to the boys' parents. To lose a son in such circumstances is awful and something which I doubt they will ever be able to put behind them1 -
Can you buy these on the day?0
