If you scroll down her page towards the end of October, there's tons of messages from fans who clearly rated Robinson and didn't want him sacked

Despite me despising the regime I am still a Charlton fan and want us to win every week.I think that all new Manager's should be given a chance. Karl Robinson is no different.

I'd say most. If we get another network nobody at some point, they will not have my support at all.
  • I know a MKD player through his Dad and he speaks very, very highly of him.

Do we really want a bloke who carries a handbag around with him as manager?
Preferable to a bloke over 50 who wears a baseball cap!
    Uh oh.

  • Has he got the job? no statement from Charlton yet

A pair of Hudson winkle pickers trumps an oldun in a baseball cap by a country mile.
    Beggars belief

I wouldn't mind a Tony Pullid though, then I can handle the aged baseball cap wearer

Not really fussed about words from someone who 'fell in love' with a flipping franchise.
Ever fallen in love with someone/thing you shouldn't have fallen in love with? (Buzzcocks)
    Accidents will happen (Elvis Costello).

    Thank you.

To be honest I cannot recall the exact words, it was said to me as he walked past after I'd said something to him about Chris Powell's team in League one but that was the gist of it and basket case was used.

    Welcome Karl!

I remember you telling me that at the time. But I am sure you also used some words about our Karl which, for good taste, might be left unrepeated.

Beating AFC Wimbledon is a success in this guys eyes. That's why I hate them so much. Because of Roland and what he has done to charlton, I don't care who we appoint or what the manager has done previously. He will be sacked by Easter and we will continue to be a joke of a club

To be fair, he does say he started following them when he was 10. Presumably most of his mates at school supported Chelsea or Man U. Now I despise the franchise thing but it's hardly fair to expect a 10 year old to understand it.

And AFC are clearly MK's main rivals, simply because of that history. That was one of both team's biggest games. (FWIW I wanted AFC to win as did almost everyone else).

He probably met Katrien today and thought "sod this".
  • Robinson got MK Dons promoted. How many promotions did Slade have?

    I think I did ;-)

That stems back from.the night we tonked Huddersfield on the way to the title and our Karl was there for Sky, walked past us (me, @KillersBeard and @PeteF ) outside the press room. He wasn't impressed by us if I recall ;-)
  • Come on guys let's have a sense of decency - Community Club and all that - Karl Robinson is probably the best when can hope for, through no fault of his. Let's give him a warm CAFC welcome and save our vitriol for attendees of the regime!
